Gone down hill. Took over a month after constant hounding to send results to medical supplier for my treatment. Tricked me into scheduling an unnecessary appointment to be charged for it.

Sometimes getting your prescription filled is a race, because there are shortages. Hampton medical group will not help you get your meds, they are absolutely inflexible with their scheduling and they will call the pharmacy at their leisure even when they know that you are leaving town and you don't have your prescription refilled.I've played this game for a while now and as of today I am looking for a new doctors office: I need advocates and teammates not people running interference between me and my medications.

I used Dr. Avant as my primary care physician for several years. I had been a patient for about three years when I found out they wouldn't accept me as a walk in. I had developed a UTI over a weekend. I showed up at their office first thing Monday morning and was the first person in the door only to be told, in a very short and rude manner, that they didn't accept walk in patients. They told me to go to an ER. Really??? The reason I finally stopped going is because Dr. Avant discontinued doing lab work for my annual physical. This kind of blew my mind. How can any physician possibly discern my health condition with a 15 minute, how's it going?, kind of conversation?

The NP Jeffrey Hensen was very helpful, thorough and took the time to fully answer my questions and share thoughts. I've been coming here for quite a few years and stay due to the great attention and care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cooper's for the last 5 years and have always had a great experience with her. She has an excellent bedside manner and has helped ease my concerns about various health issues. I have also had my blood taken here and that was a good experience as well. The front desk has gotten me in for last minute appointments with Dr. Cooper multiple times and has accommodated a virtual appointment as well.

I believe the front office staff to be the best part about this office! I’m frustrated by the horrid comments. Linda is my absolute favorite person in That place and the Face of Hampden Medical!! Give her a raise!!!I wish they would stop having such a turnover in mid level providers. The reason I haven’t left the practice is because primary care, in general, in this state is awful. I can actually say that Hampden Medical does a better job than others getting you in for last minute acute visits.

This is an old school practice and I love it. The providers are kind and listen to you. Once you’re established as a patient, it’s not much trouble to get an appt. Their portal is not great, but it’s easy enough to navigate. I really like this place if you need a general practitioner.

Tried to schedule a well-visit for my child but was told they are not accepting new medicaid patients even after being assigned to my child by medicaid. This is apparently illegal.

I've been going here since Dr Hubbard and Cindy Porter were my Physicians. And then Jeff Hansen. They do a pretty god job there and are all good people. They've all taken pretty good care of me since I was 20 yrs old and thats 30 yrs now. Staff is always helpful.

They've been my primary care physicians for more than 10 years now... the physicians, PAs, and NPs take time to listen, and do a really good job overall. Also, being a multi-provider practice means sometimes if you have an unscheduled issue, you can get seen the same day.

I have been a patient for years, I really love how genuine and caring all of the providers are. I LOVE Linda in the front office! I always enjoy seeing her. My test results always arrive in a timely manner, which I appreciate. All in all, I am very happy to be a patient at Hampden Medical!

Well, first I'm going to say that I've been a patient of hampden medical literally my entire life. Yes, since Dr. Sever owned the practice and my mother brought me here as an infant. Second, the turn over in mid level providers is frustrating, and if they ever lose Lindsay Davis, I don't know what I'll do, because she is the only person my daughter and I feel comfortable speaking with. Medication refills and lab results do not get taken care of by other providers when your provider is out of the office. That's also frustrating. I'm being generous in my 4 stars because I will occasionally see Dr. Avant for a med refill and I like him is a doctor- and as a medical practice manager myself I understand that inner office work flows can be difficult to peg down, BUT, making sure patients are taken care of when a provider is out has to be #1 ALSO! I love Linda at the front desk. It took us a while to get to a level of understanding because she is a "get to business" kind of lady. If she has to "smile" (according to other reviews) to make you comfortable- that sounds like a you problem- cause she is very good at her job.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I've been seeing Dr. Cooper for about 5 years now and she's the best. She is so smart and knows so much about the whole body. She is always able to help me feel better and get on the right path to feel better as soon as possible.

Arranged for a doctor's appointment and turned up there to find out they want my Social Security Number. This is not required by law and not sure what purpose it serves them to get patients personal details that are not required. Their only logical explanation was, they had done so for 11 years. There is no official box on their form that asks for it, the receptionist put an asterisk by pen and asked me to put the details there. I provided my drivers license and company medical insurance and that was not good for them. They never told me when I made the appointment 5 weeks ago with Dr. Todd as he had some good reviews. I cancelled my appointment and left.

My Family has been going to Hampden Medical Group for 29 years. Dr. Hubbard was our Doc since I was four (I'm 33 now). Mom was diagnosed with early onset dementia about six years ago and Dr. Hubbard took the best care of her. I was really scared when Hubbard retired because how do you replace someone who helped us through the dementia and has known the whole family for 29 years?!? Well, Dr. Cooper is AMAZING! She has definitely filled Dr. Hubbard’s shoes for us. She talks to MOM even though Mom can't really advocate for herself, but she shows Mom respect and is patient. Although I haven't been seen for over five years Dr. Cooper also shows that she cares for me as a child of a dementia patient. Always asks ME how I'M doing on top of the wonderful care she gives Mom. I have been in healthcare administration for 8 years, and have been to literally hundreds of visits to other Doctors with Mom, so I know how rare it is to have a Doc take their time.Mom has recently been having some sleep/behavioral issues at the Nursing Home and I left a voicemail for Dr. Cooper. She tried to get in touch with me THREE times after business hours to discuss options.Best. Primary. Care. Office. EVER! But specifically, Dr. Cooper ?-Dalal Yakhlef
