Fees fees fees fees fees fees. Yes, read your contract before signing. But if life throws anything at you and requires you to move or close your business, be prepared to shell out what’s left of your money to these greed monsters.

Don’t do it!!!!!! Comcast business is the WORST!!!!! Long story short if you’re not diligent about knowing exactly when your contract ends they will charge you an astronomical amount ($445 in my case) and they won’t do a thing about it. Too bad, too sad.

In June of 2023 I signed a contract with Comcast Business for 36 months for internet service at my business. In September 2023 life changed dramatically with a hip replacement and a decision to sell my business after 13 years. I called Comcast Business in January 2024 telling them I wanted to close my account because I sold my business. The new owners already had their own comcast business contract so they transferred that to the new location (the one I just sold). I ended up leaving on vacation for awhile and got a bill notification from Comcast saying my bill was overdue. Come to find out my account was never closed and I was being charged for internet at the location being occupied by the new owner.
When I told comcast that they were charging two accounts for the same address they said that I'm still responsible for the monthly payments ($300 total now). In addition, I will be charged a disconnect fee for the remaining months on the contract ($1000). Their argument was the new owners didn't take over my account but only transferred theirs. Comcast gave me the option to keep my contract and move it to my home. I reminded them that I already have Comcast Xfinity at my home. They quickly replied that they are not the same business and suggested I move my business internet into my home and cancel my residential Xfinity service. I pay $3 less a month for my residential internet and it is way faster than my business internet, so why would i do that? Pay more for less speed from the same company (I thought they were related and I could expect a consistent level of service between the comcast owned companies).
The only way the buyer or seller of a business doesn't get penalized by comcast is if the buyer isn't already a comcast customer and can take over a comcast business contract at that same location. If they both already have contracts with comcast business, then one of them has to terminate their contract and pay the fees. Or by life's fate the purchase of the business takes place on the exact dates of the term ending of their respective comcast business contracts.
Their contracts are predatory and after this experience I could never support a business that enforces these types of practices.
1. Charging two account monthly fees for the same address.
2. The only path to avoid fees (in my case) is to cancel my residential comcast Xfinity and replace it with my comcast business service (1000 Mbps/250 Mbps and 250 Mbps/25 Mbps respectively).
I have been a comcast business and residential customer for over 25 years combined and will be seeking different providers now. They lost me with the tone they think I will be back regardless of their practices. It all just feels so wrong.

Xfinity has the worst customer service representative in Pueblo. Nicholas the manager is horrible and Remy the rep. Is rude, and disrespectful. HUGH mistake going to xfinity mobile..

Just abysmal customer service. I think the only reason they still have customers is because they have monopolies on high speed internet in local markets, like my neighborhood where they are the only wired broadband option.

To anyone considering opening a Comcast business Internet account don't. Definitely don't get scammed the way I did. I had Xfinity personal account, when I got call about this promotion going on because I am just a great candidate they said I would receive $1000 visa prepaid it would help with the set fees and for being a loyal but I had taken the most WiFi package even I didn't need what was being offered and was really expensive and I was just starting to sale life insurance and I am a single female. Anyway a year later and I still not received the gift card so it was scam to get more people to get on board. I have spent show much talking to support and Everytime I do I mention the but I also mentioned that I have had consistently problems with my Wi-Fi it gets freeze up or just loose connection all the time, and it can't locate the router and on top all that they have double billed me I asked about and they want me to prove refund I never received. Each person over the past year promise's to take care of it and I am still waiting. Here is a few that will amaze you and that because all the trouble with the WiFi going down I got my identity stolen during a breach with there network and I lost everything and my bank closed my account and I can't get any money out now for 3 months. I have a son who just started college and is failing because of the inconveniences with the WiFi and with the breach caused by the Comcast that caused us to lose everything I am know on welfare and I work from home in life insurance and I can't work if I don't have good service. The $1000. Visa from last December 26 contract (they conveniently lost all records) and the new contract that again has WiFi and get this promised another $1000 gift card and I have not got any that one either. No body will help me. So be save your self the trouble and go elsewhere.

Do yourself a favor and find another provider that does not have abusive language in the contract.

Comcurst earns their nickname honestly. If I could give no stars, I would. They don’t rate the one that google mandates. Bill has gone up 47% in three months and there is no notification.Add that to the fact they structure so no one has to descend to the indignity of dealing with a ewwww “customer”.Incredible. A communication group that couldn’t send a smoke signal in a bushfire.

Horrible, unreliable service as well as awful communication. They're also charging me for service even though my contract has ended because of their 30-day cancellation notice policy which doesn't make sense at all. I have to pay for a continuation of my service even though my contract has ended? How does that make sense at all?I would also mention that I live in downtown Denver and dealt with constant service outages. The service outages were frequent (multiple times per week) and lasted almost all day.In addition, the connection and access itself was slow, unreliable and actually hurt my business.I would not do business with Comcast Business again and would NOT recommend using them as your internet service provider. Dealing with them was a nightmare and I wish I could have avoided it all together.

Tried to sign up for business service. They were quick to sign a contract but have spent the past 2 weeks trying to get in touch with someone to install. Stay away.

Why would you “update” systems on a Monday shutting down services on the most busy day of the week for any business… make it make sense…

Worst company I've ever worked for. Employees are unprofessional and mistreat those they look down on. Their services also suck!
