Summary; if you just want some shelving in your garage, it's probably fine. If you are hoping for something nice for the interior of your home, look elsewhere. Seriously, just buy it at IKEA and pay someone to install it. Quicker, cheaper, and probably better quality.
Here's our experience:
Project; Murphy bed for guest room with shelving on two walls.
Cost; $29,000
Start to finish; 7 months
Issues:
Changed design without approval
Arrived with mismatched color and inappropriate sized cabinet doors - took 3 more months for correct product to arrive and install
We were told only one option was available for mattress and headboard color. Actually, there were many options, we just weren't offered any of them. The mattress/boxspring they provided were invoiced at $3200, available online for $1700. We returned their bedding and purchased our own.
Installers were polite, and returned twice to attempt to flush the cabinets and fix issues with the Murphy bed. On the second visit they broke one of the panel mirrors. That took another few weeks to fix.
Customer service manager was rude
Owner Doug did stop by once to investigate, but was often unavailable to discuss next steps
This entire debacle took seven months, during which time we of course had no guest accommodations.
Though they did offer a bit of a discount, it in no way made up for the hassle.

Worked with Ali and she was amazing!! I had a pretty specific vision in mind and she was so attentive to my design ideas and in making sure that she provided me with the best solutions for my space that both maximized storage and looks stunning!! The crew that came to install was also great! They were booked for two days and finished in one. Everything is super high quality and I couldn’t be more happy with the outcome. I’d love to add more custom options to my home and will definitely work with closet factory again.

I highly recommend the closet factory. My sales professional Ali, was spot on, all our needs. We ran into a bit of an installation snafu and the Closet Factory made it perfect even though it cost them. I will be calling them next year for the garage. They are so easy to deal with and have a gorgeous product!!

Tia Hunsperger did a great job on this project. She went to our condo in Fraser and when we met with her in Closet Factor's showroom, she had a drawing and a couple of different concepts for us to look at. Went through several different options with no pressure. We took a couple of weeks, and she answered all the questions when we called. After making our decision to go ahead, within a few days we had an install date, and 2 guys showed up on time. They were very experienced and completed the job being very careful as we just installed a new floor. Everything was cleaned and polished when they left. Great experience!

I had the best experience working with Marcela at Closet Factory! She was incredibly creative in finding solutions to make the most out of my space & fit all my specific closet needs. Marcela is also just a wonderful person to partner with and is clearly passionate about her craft! So grateful to the install team (Rey & Tomas) for a quick & easy installation.

Edward and Henry arrived on time for the appointment and completed the task in a timely manner. The area was left very clean and they clearly explained how to move the shelves and bars.

Jordan, the designer created the perfect cabinets for our hallway space. Ronny and Victor installed the cabinets professionally and efficiently! This is our second cabinet installation completed by Closet Factory through Costco. The First job was office cabinets, desk, and wall bed. It was also done to perfection from Jordan’s design to the installation. My husband and I are extremely happy with Closet Factory and the entire process!
