This time I was searching for a special room accessory and found the coolest pillow through Carpet Exchange. I've purchase wood flooring, wall and floor tiles, area rugs and pads, carpet, and more from the beautiful Highlands location. Each purchase and installation has been fantastic. I will never need to shop for flooring anywhere else.

We purchased kitchen counters and our experience was great. Thank you to our salesperson at Carpet Exchange, Karen, and the team from Stoneworks of Colorado for the smooth install. The communication from everyone was excellent.

We needed the carpet in my mom's home replaced so we could put it on the market for sale. Carpet Exchange did a fantastic job and were supportive and able to accommodate our schedule for getting everything out of the home and ready for installation and the ultimate sale. We appreciate their business and Matt our salesman did a great job.

If I could give negative stars I would. Carpet Exchange is unorganized and unresponsive. I had constant communication issues with the sales rep (Erin) to the point that I don't think she ever listened to what I needed. I went into the store at the end of May to find carpet for a stair runner and Erin helped me pick some colors and let me take home samples. However, when I returned and asked about pricing, she said Carpet Exchange had to send someone to measure my stairs. This should have been easy to estimate without measuring as I have 13 steps and wanted a standard 2 ft runner, but I learned later from a competitor that Carpet Exchange was the only company requiring this up front extra step. Anyway, the scheduling took a couple weeks because of Carpet Exchange's lack of availability, and then the guy who came out to measure told me he thought he was measuring a room and didn't have the appropriate device to measure stairs. I think he could tell how frustrated I was that I had waited three weeks for someone to measure my stairs and then they sent the wrong person, so he said he would estimate the measurements the best he could and call Erin (the sales rep) when he left to explain the measurements to her. I didn't hear from Erin for a few days so called the store and she admitted that she hadn't had time to generate my estimate, but she would email it by end of day. I didn't get an email so followed up with her the next day and she said my email was pushed back. I gave her another email to use, but still never received the quote. I will never use Carpet Exchange again. I honestly don't think Erin ever listened to me which was evidenced by the fact that she sent out the wrong measuring guy to my house and then couldn't get my email correct.

I had a very good experience with Carpet Exchange. My salesperson, Karen, is EXTREMELY knowledgable. Seriously, ask for her when you go in. She spent a very long time with me helping to find what I needed to match our style of home and wall coloring. She even had samples sent that we didn't find in the store, one of which I loved, but husband not so much. We finally decided on our carpet and everything went well. Since I read many negative reviews online about installation nightmares, I expressed my concerns to Karen and she recommended either Jesus or Mundo. They're the experts who go out to correct issues from other previous installers. Mundo was assigned to us; he and Sergio (I think was his name) did an AMAZING job. I've never seen two men work so hard and non-stop. They were so pleasant, quick, receptive to any questions or concerns, and cleaned up everything perfectly. My suggestion is that if you use Carpet Exchange, ask for Karen, and then have installers (either Jesus or Mundo) written into your contract.

I had a great experience from start to finish with Carpet Exchange. Amy Keller was so helpful and patient jn helping me choose three types of flooring for my new home. I also felt like she worked to get me the best price possible. They also sent a fantastic contractor, Martin, to install it. He did a great job and was very conscientious about the work that he and his crew did. I highly recommend this place for their customer service and the quality of the work and finished product!

I had this store install engineered wood through my entire home plus carpet on the steps about 10 years ago. They did a great job. I paid over $20k. I recently had some minor water damage and called to see if they could fix it. The installer they referred me to said $100 a board and couldn’t give me a quote. I asked him to come out and look at it after speaking to other companies who could quote the job. He still couldn’t give me a quote, wanted me to file an insurance claim to redo the whole house so he’d get a $20k+ job out of it instead of $1k. If filed a claim my premium would go up next year or I’d be canceled as getting insurance in this state is extremely costly due to the wildfires. Why would I do that? I called to let the salesperson know and she didn’t want to hear it. She was rather rude and dismissive and got me off the phone. I won’t be using this company again. Jobs like this matter no matter how small for your reputation.

The store is clean and well lit, friendly staff. We had a little hiccup with our order and Melody and the team went well beyond my expectations to help get everything right. It's refreshing when a business takes care of their customers these days!

Our experience with Carpet Exchange was absolutely horrible. We thought the savings were too good to be true and we were right. The installation was a nightmare. Their installers were unprofessional, did not take pride in their work, and did not care about our carpet or our property. Removal of the old carpet seemed to go OK but then as soon as they were prepping for the new carpet install everything started going wrong. They decided rather than replacing the old tack strips they would install parallel (side by side) strips to all the existing tack strips. We stopped them when we saw what they were doing and had to call the installation manager to correct the process. The installation manager came out and then argued with us about the installation and about replacement of the tack strips. She even stated that the old strips were far superior to the new tack strips and they leave the old ones as they're "better quality." Apparently, you can spend $8500 on carpet and installation but not expect them to replace old worn out tack strips. They had the nerve to then charge us an extra $50 just for the strips. Very tacky. The installers then begrudgingly replaced all the tack strips and installed the pad. Seemed everything was going better at this point until they started getting the new carpet ready. The installers decided that it would be best to unroll and cut our brand new carpet in the middle to the street. I went out to see what they were doing and found the new carpet covered in dirt, rocks, and leaves. Thousands of dollars in carpet being unrolled in the middle of a public street without protection. They, of course, took offense to being called out on this and the head installer told everyone to stop working and called them all out to the street. Another call to the installation manager had to be made to get work going again and to have the installers unroll some of the old carpet in our driveway to protect the new carpet as it was unrolled and cut. Apparently, this is what they were supposed to be doing in the first place and the installation manager didn't believe us when we called.Of course, the new carpet still made its way into the house with debris and we had to check and clean off the carpet ourselves. The installers thought this was all funny and made jokes and comments about us in Spanish thinking we didn't understand. Once the entire nightmare was over, the carpet seemed OK but we found nails and pieces of tack strips in all the floor vents, found tack strips and old carpet pad thrown in our basement and hidden in our closet, and found the floor vent holes cut crooked and uneven. For days we were stepping on and picking staples and small nails out of the carpet. They even wound up in our dogs paws. Absolutely horrible. There was zero follow up after our experience even from the sale rep that specifically said he'd call afterwards.I would never repeat business with Carpet Exchange and would never recommend them. Don't bother with any savings you may think you're getting as the frustration and headache will be more costly.

Do not trust their satisfaction guarantee. We gave them every opportunity to fix our faulty flooring, for which we spent over $14k. The manager gave us the runaround for months and ultimately lost our trust completely. I'm amazed that people can be so unprofessional yet keep their jobs.
