I have used Blackhawk moving for both commercial and residential moves. They are always on time courteous and careful with what ever we are moving. I would recommend them for any of your moving needs.

Edited in response to their reply: The response from the business is completely inaccurate and again does not address the movers yelling, fighting, and cursing. The “minor” items ruined are a nice dresser, sectional sofa, and mattress, so not minor at all. But they sure have acted like our stuff being ruined is no big deal. The elevator was a reserved elevator and was a super short walk. We went back and timed it ourselves but for some reason they think a reserved elevator should add hours to a move. This review isn’t leveraged for a discount, they pretty much just said to bad on our discount and won’t address the movers cursing, yelling, and fighting. I want to leave this review so people avoid this company in the future. My wife and mother felt very unsafe with how the movers were acting, the service we paid for was horrible, the customer service was horrible, and it all resulted in some of our key items broken that they refer to as “minor” and simply don’t care. They didn’t use 3 flights of stairs during the unload instead we had to call 5 other family members and friends to help us unload so we weren’t finishing at midnight. The movers took 2 items up the stairs, and another 2 items down another set up stairs. The rest of the items they simply put in the main room and did not put these items in the rooms that we had designated them to. Avoid this company at all costs. They took 9 hours to move us from a one bedroom apartment and claim our reserved elevator was the reason it took this long (probably a 30 second ride at most). The movers yelled, cursed, and fought with each other the whole time and the company would not provide us any assistance during this when we were reaching out during the move asking for help. We had numerous items broken and the customer service has been non existent. When we were waiting to hear from the mover’s “boss” on what we were being charged for they charged our card without us knowing and drove off.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of using Blackhawk Moving for my recent move, and I must say, it was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. I cannot stress enough how disappointed I am with the value, the condition of my belongings, and the abysmal customer service I received.First and foremost, let's talk about the value. I paid a significant amount of money for their services, expecting a certain level of professionalism and care. However, what I received was far from it. The movers were slow, inefficient, and seemed to have no regard for the time constraints I had communicated beforehand. I had to constantly remind them of the urgency and importance of sticking to the schedule, but they simply did not seem to care. For the amount of money I paid, I expected a much more efficient and timely service.Furthermore, the condition in which my belongings arrived at my new home was appalling. I had specifically mentioned that I had fragile items that required extra care, yet many of them ended up broken or damaged beyond repair. It was devastating to see cherished possessions in pieces, and it is clear that the movers did not handle them with the necessary caution. Not only did this result in financial loss, but also emotional distress.Lastly, the customer service provided by Blackhawk Moving was nothing short of abysmal. From the moment I first contacted them, I felt like just another number in their system. They were unresponsive to my inquiries, and when I finally managed to get a hold of someone, their attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. They showed no empathy towards the damage caused to my belongings, and instead, deflected blame onto me for not packing them properly. It was an incredibly frustrating experience, and I felt completely disregarded as a paying customer.In conclusion, I would strongly advise against using Blackhawk Moving for your moving needs. The lack of value for the money paid, the damaged goods, and the poor customer service make it clear that this company does not prioritize their customers' satisfaction. Save yourself the trouble and find a more reliable and considerate moving company.

MORE EXPENSES TO COVER DAMAGES THAN THE MOVE ITSELF!My fiancé and I used this company to move into our first house and it was a disaster. Several thousand dollars in designer furniture was damaged, which was only covered by cents on the pound for reimbursement. The movers were extremely agitated about the amount of work they had to do in a short period of time since they showed up 3.5 hours later than the contracted start time, and they got into a screaming match in front of our new home and neighbors, which also put the job to a halt for another 20 min. If I could go back in time I would have paid double for a company that actually cared about their work and reputation, because hiring Blackhawk made our move more difficult when movers are usually a luxury. Will never recommend them or use them again, and I will use my influencer platform to let everyone know about their poor quality of work on tin Tok. It is my mission to prevent any young couples or hardworking adults from enduring the disrespect and inconvenience we faced as a result of this job. Good riddance.

If they break it you have to buy it yourself again. Worst customer service. Break your stuff and won’t let you talk to any of the crew to get images they took of the damage to help with your refund. They use a third party for claims. They tell you 90 business days, in reality they just hope you forget and never pay for any of the damages.

So many people forget to put good reviews for good service. I wanted to leave this due to the superb service I received from Black Hawk moving they showed up on time. The sales people were courteous, and they followed up after the move amazing company, and I would suggest them over and over again.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Do not I repeat DO NOT do business with these people,after telling me they would move & put up ever, they never,put my bed back up I had to do it, they broke my tv, these people are horrible! VERY VERY VERY BAD SERVICE.
