First off I have been driving for 45 some years so have worked on my own vehicles when I could. Now I dont have the skills or the ability to do that with my illnessess. So I asked my office who is trustworthy and I got a few to check out. One also sounded good but it was a bigger business so it was much more overhead for the cost. I went with Doug and will always go with him and highly recommed him to others. It really is hard to find peopple/ companies that one will be trustworthy but two that works just as hard to keep the costs down. This is huge considering these days and we all are trying to stretch the dollars. I wish I knew Doug before I purchased my vehicle to find out some issues or things to use for more bargining power. Also if some things he doesnt' do then can recommend another trustworthy person who also understands about that we all need to try and make our dollars stretch these days. I was given a glass and muffler person to call for some of my issues also that he gave me. I alwasy try to do the next right thing to complete strangers and people I know. Its awesome to also find people who do this in life. Besides just work my vehicle is very important because of volunteering to help with dog transports 5 hours one way, so its important my vehicle works. Forever a customer and you all will not regret it.

Doug is a great mechanic! He's one of very few independent mechanics your can trust for quality work and done right the first time. He is honest, hard working, and reliable. He won't tackle a job he's not comfortable with and will tell straight up is it's worth fixing or not.

If you are looking for an expert mechanic who will not overcharge and will get the job done right Baker's Automotive is the place for you. I first took my car in for a diagnostic test bc my check engine light came on. When Doug finished and told me the 2 problems he did not try to make them sound horrible just to get my business. In fact, he told me my car was in pretty good shape and my car would make it to California, and to get in touch with him if I wanted to fix the issues! Whereas Doug reassured, other's would've tried to press scheduling a repair date and feed my fears of my car breaking down. Doug is a genuine great guy. I would recommend Baker's Automotive to anyone and everyone.

Doug is amazing. He fixed the tie rod on my car in under 2 hrs and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. Very honest, reliable and communicative. I was referred to him by others who agreed that he was the best. Highly recommend and will not use anyone else for my car repairs. Thanks Doug!!

Honest, reliable, and when the parts that were needed to fix my car were unavailable, Mr . Baker not only found higher quality parts, but charged no additional cost. This meant alot as without him I wouldn't have been able to drive my car. I will always recommend and return to Baker automotive repair.

Doug replaced my side mirror for me after it was stolen off my car. He was extremely helpful in finding me the right part online at a reasonable cost and fixed my mirror in under 10 min. He is kind, generous, fairly priced, and I greatly appreciated his help and patience to guide me through the process. I highly recommend Doug for your car needs repair and maintenance needs!

Doug is the best mechanic! Honest, skilled and affordable. He’s even done small repairs for free because it didn’t take him very much time. I really appreciate his honest advice about whether to repair something or not on my older truck. I feel his goal is more about helping people than making money.Read his reply to the ridiculous 1 star review. After putting new brakes on, something else was wrong with their car. That happens. Because they were unhappy, he fully refunded their money! What mechanic does that!!Doug is the most honest, hard working mechanic I’ve known.Now, if people would go to him less often, I’d appreciate it. I can’t possibly give you a 0 star review, but I can only give you 1 and you don’t deserve it. I took my car to have you replace my brakes which not only cost me $400 dollars, but you managed to screw up my car, and cost me an additional $800 to fix it, and when my Dad took it back over to you to see what you could do… You were absolutely rude, and told my dad that you wanted nothing to do with my car anymore made him sign a waiver that stated that you had no other business with the car and no longer wanted anything to do with it. I have no money for this kind of repair and no longer have a car thanks to you. I will never recommended you to anyone I know, and I wish I never took my car to you.Service: Brakes
