“I ordered online from Meininger because I don't have an art supply store near me. I try to support local businesses (vs Amazon) as I don't want these valuable stores to go away in their communities. When one of the graphite pencils I ordered wasn't available, they sent me two additional pencils of a higher quality at no additional charge. They also included a nice handwritten note apologizing and explaining the substitution. Even if supplies cost a bit more, the knowledge, attention to detail, and incredible customer service more than make up for it! This is the difference between a small local business and large online retailers. I'm so grateful for this store and will continue to support them.”

“After many years, i went back to Guiry's. OMG what a difference. All the miserable old geesers at the paint counter disappeared, probably dead. Young kids took over. Thank God no more attitude, no more misery. Kids having fun & working hard. Guiry's always has plenty of variety and good quality but i have not been there for years because i never like the service at the paint counter. Somehow, they always have guys w/attitude almost rude. Customer service is on the top of my list. Even though Benjamin Moore is one of the best quality paint, i will easily switch to a HomeDepot or Sherwin Williams store if i dont like the customer service which i did so many years ago bcuz of those lousy guys at Guiry's paint counter. It really was their loss considering that i own several rentals and constantly working on home improvements as part of my business. But now im back as long as those kids keep working there w/their fun & positive attitude. Benino & Sheemus were helping me & they r both great kids w/excellent customer service skills.”

“Have lots of options. One issue is that I wanted specific furniture legs. They had two, and I needed 8. Asked if they could look up the other stores that were stocked with them. However, they aren't linked like that, and I had to do the searching for them. It's not a huge deal, but a time/gas/effort suck. The staff is always so nice and as helpful as they can be.”

“JoAnn's is a great arts and craft store with some really great seasonal decorations and decor. They offer a teacher discount which is wonderful and they have a great selection of items at comparable prices to the other stores of this kind. Plus they don't put their politics and religious beliefs into their business which I'm much more likely to support. The staff is knowledgeable and able to help with any project, and the store is always clean and organized.”

“Great customer service. I placed an order via phone call and had it for pick up. I have a really busy schedule, so it turned out I was only available when they were closed. The person on the phone said they could open the store on the day that they are usually closed JUST for this pick up order. “Absolutely love this supplier. Customer service is A+ and their Choice brand products are wonderful. I recently switched from the top brand (expensive) solder to the Choice brand. I was hesitant because I did not want to fight the "waves" that can occur while soldering stained glass together, but my previously preferred brand was just so expensive. CHOICE BRAND OUTPERFORMED the top brand on every level. No more chasing "waves" at intersections, which is a huge timesaver. It also accepts patina better, you get a deeper color of black or copper. The solder lines were absolutely beautiful!!!! And it's nice to pass the savings on to my customers. Highly recommend D&L and their Choice line of products.”
