The tax return this CPA company did for me was a calamity of errors. First, three weeks after I met with them and provided my documents they still had not even started my return. They didn't begin until I called to follow up. Secondly, once my return was done and I had paid state and federal, I realized something was wrong. After I dug through the return, I found where a document, showing a substantial amount of income was overlooked. This was partly my error as I had not included the 1099, only a payment receipt that included all pertinent information. HOWEVER, I'd also listed this income on the summary sheet this CPA company had me fill out, so the preparer should have noticed it and questioned it. The one good thing is they did the amended, state and federal, returns at no cost (although I'd already paid over $800 for the original return). Lastly, I got a surprise in my mail in the form of a refund. Colorado sent me back almost all I'd paid them as a result of the amended return. After a lengthy phone call, I learned that somehow, someone had simply not written in the correct amount I owed on the payment instruction letter from the CPA. The figure they had written in was over $5,000 more than it should have been. Bottom line: a CPA should have much better attention to detail, should be more upfront on delays in completing returns, and should be more accurate. AVOID THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU JUST LOVE THE CHALLENGE OF GOING THROUGH YOUR RETURN TO FIND THEIR ERRORS.

This company did my taxes for 2 years. They got the job done, but I wasn't satisfied with the service. I have two businesses and I don't feel they helped me develop a tax plan that would optimize my companies funds. I feel like I could have gotten the same service at H&R block for far less. My biggest complaint was their constant nickel and diming. Every time I turned around I had another invoice. The worst part was the invoices didn't even say what I was being charged for. I asked multiple times for them to itemize their invoices, so I could see what I was being charged for. It was like pulling teeth. I finally got them to itemize my last invoice and there were charges that didn't make since and in my opinion didn't represent the product I received.

Loni Woodley directed the spread of incorrect medical information to the clients about myself after I left. This inflamitory information that Loni directed spread violated many HIPA Laws. I am contacting legal counsel to persue remedy.

Beware! Predatory billing practices! My ex-wife and I informally spoke to Atlas CPAs and Advisors - AFS about our divorce. We did not negotiate with Atlas CPAs and Advisors - AFS, we did not enter into a contract or agreement, nor were we informed that there were any fees or costs associated with our conversation. Fast forward more than a year Atlas CPAs and Advisors - AFS is now trying to send me to collections. This is despite the fact that I did not enter into an agreement or receive an invoice or bill.
