Ace should be worried about their reputation and soon going out of business. The taller older guy usually at the back counter has to be the rudest person I've ever met at ace, this would be 3rd worst ace I've ever visited. If not for the general manager stepping in this review would be 10 pages long. They should either remove him from customer interactions or fire him altogether. Ace is for convenience, people don't overpay for things they can get at home Depot/Lowe's for 30%/40% cheaper.

Still one of the best and storied original Ace Hardware Stores in Colorado. Superior selection of products and services. Well laid out. Very attentive and very knowledgeable and helpful staff. One of three really great Ace Hardware Stores in The Denver Market . And even under new and changing ownership a very storied and long long great history of serving the Denver market ! Hope it remains forever! The other two are in Cap Hill and Congress Park. Great to see them shine year after year decade after decade. If they dont have it. You dont need it! Always a very special place to do business. Good job! Keep on keeping on! Best in class! Best in market! Three way tie. 9th/12th and A&A. Still.

Called to ask about having a key made! “Tate” was not only unknowledgeable but also very rude! Me and my family have been coming here for YEARS and I am saddened at the staffs lack of customer service lately. Please do better , it really was a simple question to begin with.

Apologies I can’t remember her name but the lady with glasses who was working on the floor 7/30/24 around 630 pm was incredibly helpful and patient.
She helped me find the right set screw and Allen wrench for a door handle without me having any details as to the size needed. I’m really impressed at her level of customer service for a few $0.70 screws. This would never happen at your big box store competitors. Great job!

I've been going here for years but had a recently had an experience that made me very uncomfortable. I am a brown person and I bike here from home because it is in my neighborhood. The staff stopped me from walking in with a bag and told me they had a corporate policy against them. As I left white person entered right afterwards and did not get the same speech about "corporate policy" against carrying bags and was allowed to enter.

These guys have probably the biggest local hardware inventory and way better prices than competitors! They were super helpful getting me the last pieces I needed for a project for my son's room I kept misordering from Amazon. They were super friendly and helpful.
