Took my kids to the Starbucks in Safeway located in Elizabeth. They tried to use the gifts cards they received from helping out at church and the lady told me they didn't have balances. I got home and checked online and all of the cards had money on them. Both ladies behind the counter were rude and glaring at us. This isn't the first time and just reassured me again why I would rather go somewhere else than deal with rude employees. Why can't Safeway hire people who are good at their job and pleasant to their customers???? So tired of being mistreated by their employees and then lied to. Done going to this place.

The management at the Safeway in Elizabeth, CO are not enforcing the mask mandate set by the state. They are allowing people with no masks to enter and shop in the store while not wearing a mask. I was just there and there were three ladies and two children with no masks. One lady told me to F*** off when I said to wear the mask. I asked a employee about the mask policy and he just shrugged. Shame on Safeway for put people at risk for Covid-19 and not following the mandates of our state.

I visited Safeway in Elizabeth yesterday (5/15/20). I noticed a sign saying to wear face masks. However, I ran into 1 elderly male shopper with no mask. Then I saw 2 young females together with no mask and the same 2 young females now with a young male walked out through the self-checkouts while I was checking out. There was a Safeway employee with a mask and uniform working this self-checkout area who looked right at these 3 with no masks. As I was walking out, I confirmed with the employee that customers all need to wear a mask while in the store. I mentioned how many people I've seen without masks on. His remark was, Yeah there's about 3 out of 5 wearing masks and no one does a good job of telling these customers about the masks and asking them to put one on or leave. I reminded him that just a few moments ago there were 3 people walking through this area. He repeated, Yeah, no one does a good job of watching for the masks. I told him that's a shame as that's a guideline Safeway has. On my way to the door to exit, I saw a man and his son with no face mask. During my time in the store (@ 20 minutes-I saw 6 customers with no masks). I won't shop at this store any longer and will tell those that I know how unsafe that Safeway is being. After all - there are other stores to shop in Elizabeth for food and supplies.

I have been in retail for a long time I started with Safeway I went in today and got Starbucks for me and my husband I ordered ultra caramel frappuccino and asked for extra caramel drizzle and was told by the manager it has enough caramel sauce in it that is why it is called ultra caramel frappuccino. But I was always told customers always right and fulfill their orders. There was not even the normal amount of caramel sauce as a normal caramel frappuccino. So I dont know how is was an ultra caramel frappuccino. You pay so much for the drinks you should get what you ask for. She treated every customer differently that is not right either
