“Dr. Atkins and all the staff are absolutely amazing! My family and I have been coming here for years. A recent cat emergency we just went through has shown us how incredible Dr. Atkins and the staff are. They are kind, understanding, very knowledgeable, and in every way the best vet we've ever been to. Dr. Atkins as well as the staff explains everything and answer all questions multiple times without hesitation. Our cat fell ill and I had to take him to a 24 hour veterinary hospital in Castle Rock, which definitely didn't hurt, but since we were not willing to keep shelling out the big bucks for more answers, the 24hr hospital recommended euthanasia. We took out cat home to see if he would survive the night, but the 24hr place wasn't happy about it. I had to sign papers, and ultimately they called Animal Control on me. Thankfully, our cat made it through the night, and we took him to Dr. Atkins, who saved our cat's life, never recommended euthanasia, and to top it all off, he and the staff had to deal with Animal Control constantly asking for updates and reports. It was so nice to have Dusty Plains on my side, all while keeping us calm and comfortable in a scary situation. Sometimes we have to use a 24 hour pet hospital, but beware they don't care for the animals in the least bit. In the hour we spent at the 24hr hospital for them to run iv fluids and give him an exam, they charged us over $300, and recommended we spend $130 more to kill the cat. In starke contrast, less than $400 at Dusty Plains got us many tests, iv fluids, x-rays, a bag of high quality cat food, two full days of TLC, and ultimately saved our cat's life. Thank you Dusty Plains, Dr. Atkins, and all the Staff. We really appreciate your true care for the animals and their owners alike. You are the best there is in Colorado!”

“First time at Creekside last week. I had a fairly serious issue with my 8 year old Persian. They were able to get me in right away. I felt confident and comfortable with the skill level and bedside manner of the entire staff. I did have to leave him overnight to complete the tests. I picked him up safe and sound the next day. I then called on Friday night after hours with a non-emergency question, not really expecting a call back that night. However, Dr. Grimes called me back within a few minutes answering my question. Impressive! I also think the fees charged were reasonable under the circumstances. I consider Creekside to be my new Veterinarian.”
