What happened to customer service??? Waiting for much needed prescriptions that were supposed to be ready and 3 hours later nothing verry disappointing.

In between the tech lying and changing her stories 3x to my DOCTOR and wanting to not "deal with" the issues she caused, and all the back and forth phone calls from My Dr. and myself, it's a definite ZERO rating! When we depend on our medications, we Need competent people. The way both My Dr. And I were talked to is disgusting.

Unfortunately there have been so many changes to the system I have no idea when my medications are ready unless I call. The app makes no sense. The pharmacist did not offer to help only to state that I have to call multiple times. The lines are always 3-5 people deep with only one person working at the counter. Does not matter the time of day. Truly I’ll take all of my shopping including pharmacy else where. Totally done with the Safeway in Elizabeth. I know no one cares. That’s the point

My son and I stopped by for a flu shot and a Covid shot. We were told it would be 30 minutes. One hour later... still waiting. The waiting room smells like someone defecated. Never going here again! Gross! Asking for my info/ paperwork back!

If No Stars was an option, that’s where this location ranks. 5 employees on duty- yes, working their tails off. However when you call to see if prescription is ready- no one answers the phone. When you go in person, I waited in line an hour. Finally get to the register and tech says they have not begun to process the prescription which happened to be phoned in 2 days prior by the dr.Tech says to wait they’ll process it now as urgent- waited another half hour and left. Much easier to phone the dr and ask to call in the prescription AGAIN elsewhere. My prayers go out to the elderly who can’t endure this- ridiculous and unacceptable.Different prescription gets filled as a dissolvable rather than a tablet. Dr distinctly put tablet only on the prescription

I came to this pharmacy Today at 4pm and Brianna was the only person there. I had two medications sent over and only one filled as she said they didn't get the second one. She had me call the doctor when I asked her if she could as I'm sitting here in pain and just got out of the emergency room. Said if they fax it over she fill it right away because she's "caught up". So I called the doctor asked them to fax it over and as I got off the phone she rudely looked at me and said "I know you think it's funny but I have a lot of other prescriptions to fill before we close". I honestly have never experienced such rude behavior at this pharmacy and have loved it for 3 years. I can honestly say she pretty much ruined this pharmacy for me.

SLOWEST, most understaffed pharmacy I've EVER seen. Just ridiculous. Weekdays or weekends, doesn't matter.

If it was possible to give a rating of “0 ⭐️,“ I absolutely would. The pharmacists have been understanding, for the most part. However, one female technician in particular has been beyond rude, impatient, and unsympathetic, especially dealing with a patient who relies on their daily medications to function. Less than a month ago, I called to refill one of these Rxs, which had several refills left. Upon calling the pharmacy, the tech had the audacity to tell me that the medication was not even on my profile, and thus I had no refills. This medication has been filled at this location for over 3 years. I explained that, that was not correct, and gave her both the generic and retail name of the medication. She then gave me even more of an attitude, and blatantly lied to me when she told me that the Rx was “not there.” Upon calling my doctor, he assured me that I had plenty of refills for this medication. A few days ago, my dog’s medication needed to be refilled. The veterinarian called the refills in at 9:07am, and then had his technician call back a couple hours later to make sure that they received his voicemail request (they stated that they had). When I called the Safeway Pharmacy to make sure that the Rx was being filled, the same tech told me that there were no Rx refills sent in. She then had the audacity to make a snarky comment about that, “not being a good sign.” I’m not sure what exactly she was getting at, but her attitude and comment were NOT appreciated, and came across as judgmental. This makes two times in the past 3 weeks that this same pharmacy tech has lied to me about the status of a Rx, and proceeded to cop an attitude. To say that she had a lack of compassion, or basic customer service, is an extreme understatement. No one deserves to be treated this way … Especially when you are dealing with a chronic pain patient, or someone who has a hard enough time just trying to navigate the everyday nuances of life. I spoke to Safeway’s store manager, and pharmacists to try to resolve this issue. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that either were too concerned with fixing the problem.

This is two times within the past 3 weeks that this same pharmacy tech has lied to me about the status of my Rxs, copped an attitude when I tried to further explain the situation, and was just blatantly rude in her tone, and words. To say that she had any sort of lack of compassion, or basic customer service, is an extreme understatement. No one deserves to be treated this way … especially when you are dealing with a chronic pain patient, or someone who has a hard enough time just trying to navigate the everyday nuances of life. I have made a formal complaint to Safeway’s corporate office, along with the pharmacists/leads at the local store …. But it doesn’t seem that either of those departments actually care about fixing the problem. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR PHARMACY! Absolutely terrible service, served with a side of condensation and judgement.

I am so upset with this pharmacy. I've been using this pharmacy for years, but now will never return. Today I had a prescription for my daughter sent over. She has an ear infection which is terribly painful for her. It took me 45mins to get to Safeway from her doctor. The lady I worked with at the desk stated it would be 30mins. So we return 30mins later they state they don't even have the meds and it will be in tomorrow. Then told me I can call other pharmacies to see if they had it and transfer by calling them. So I go to walmart who did have the medication and tried to call them 10+ times no answer.... I drove back to Safeway to let the pharmacists know my complaint and she ignored me completely. Never again!!! No compassion, no ownership, no customer service!! I've received better customer service from the DMV!!
