My husband and I have taken our two dogs here recently. One of our dogs went over well however, I asked the clinic before hand if they would be a good fit for our Pitbull rescue who has had a hard life and rough time with the vet. They said they would be happy to see him and prescribed us medication to help calm him down before the visit. He acted calm and was frankly scared. The vet made no attempt to introduce herself or familiarize herself with our dog. She then advised we sedate him fully which we understand and then barely made an attempt to see him. We paid a lot of money to sedate him and essentially wasted our time. We have dealt with a prejudice against pit bulls in the past but this was ridiculous. Do not take your pet here if they are a Pitbull as they will make assumptions without even meeting your dog. Extremely disappointed. We now will have to put our dog through another stressful visit elsewhere because of fear for a dog that didn’t deserve it.

This veterinary practice is great. The support staff is very helpful and accommodating. We arrived with our Frenchie and were immediately attended to. The doctor came in and spoke to us and answered questions. She was caring and attentive. Our dog is usually scared, going to the vet but he was calm and comfortable. I would highly recommend Vail Valley Animal Hospital.

Dr. Duncan and Lindsey were absolutely incredible in taking care of my cat Little Bit this past Saturday. I was so impressed and thankful for their ability to get me in on a Saturday and ensure that Bit was treated with the best care! Thank you!

Referral to wheat ridge, to get rung out.
And leave with more issues... They got us for 8,400. Go to someone who cares.

My wife and I had a moment of panic when our 6 year old dog had a vertigo incident (unknown at the time). We thought worst case and assumed she was having a stroke, but Olivia walked us through all the tests, explained lab results, and helped us form a game plan for the future. Very happy with the care provided at our ER visit.

My first experience today with these lovely humans. Waiting room was very chill. Great first impressions. Receptionist, Kinga, was warm and immediately greeted myself and my 5 year old tabby. We were early so we got to see a happy puppy leaving with his two happy looking owners. Kinga was happy to answer all of my questions and was very knowledgeable. Once in the waiting room, I was surprised to notice cat scratching posts to make my friend more comfortable. Couldn't believe that he was purring the entire check up. Sarah the vet technician took our information and was speedy and warm. Apologizing for the delay as there was a pupmergency in the other room. But there was very much not a delay. Dr. Leape came in the room and they administered two vaccines with magic to the point that my cat friend didn't stop purring. Dr. Leape you are an artist and you have an excellent staff. 10/10 will recommend. The entire scheduled appointment lasted less than 40minutes.

Amazing service.
We were up visiting Breckenridge when the only road to our cabin was blocked for over 7 hours. Our dog is diabetic and her insulin & food we're in the cabin. Every vet nearby was closed. We couldn't even walk to the cabin, the state troopers were turning us around. Needless to say, I was in panic mode.
Vail Valley Animal Hospital was able to get us her insulin and food in time. They were extremely nice, helpful, and understanding. I wish we lived closer to use them. Would definitely recommend.

Our 6 month old puppy decided to test her ability to fly on Friday at around 2AM and ended up with a fractured leg. The amazing staff of VVAH-Edwards got us in to an emergency appointment at 11AM. The doctor was able to x-ray, stabilize and splint the fracture as well as provide the necessary pain meds. They were also able to email the exam notes and xrays to our primary vet in Michigan within one hour of our appointment, this expediency allowed us to scheduled an emergency surgery for Monday morning. We are so thankful to the staff for getting us in so quickly and for the compassionate care they provided.

Compassionate, affordable care. We had an emergency with our pup while on vacations and they took us without being stablished patient.
