A true Artist!
It's hard to know where to start to describe my experiences at Eaton Paint and Body. I enlisted the services of Kyle over a year ago on a specialty Kenworth project. Before I trusted him with my Kenworth project I asked him to do a dent repair on my Dodge car. His repair of the Dodge was nothing short of fantastic! I could not tell there was ever a dent in this car it is also a classic muscle car and I am very picky.
After the success with the Dodge I felt I was ready to turn the keys over to the Kenworth. This was a full custom paint and body repair with full interior restoration/customization . This project was done over the course of several months in several different stages because of other subcontractors taking the truck to and from back and forth. I would like to speak to several aspects of Kyle Cook that I have learned throughout this long and highly technical project.
1. Communication. Kyle was always available for me to provide input to and text or call even on weekends when necessary. He would stay in constant communication with me asking different questions that were important to me the owner. These questions are important because the owner is in charge of the car or truck. Every time there is something that comes up money was talked about up front so that there were no surprises.
2. Easy to work with. Different people have different personalities however I've been in business for many decades and worked with hundreds of different owners and it sure is nice dealing with Kyle because he is friendly and sharp and always has a positive attitude.
3. Overcoming obstacles. This is a very unique trait whether it was the Dodge or the Kenworth there's always something that comes up that you find out once you get into a vehicle. The things that were discovered were not the fault of Kyle it's just part of having a vehicle worked on. Instead of complaining about these things that were discovered Kyle found Solutions. That is so critical when you take a vehicle to somebody that they do not wash their hands of it when they encounter an unexpected issue. Kyle is the kind of man that if he takes on a job he will see it through to the end overcoming any challenge that arises that is in his way - - - - - like a damn good Marine----:-)!!
4. Artistic ability. This was far more important for my Kenworth project than the Dodge. With the Dodge we just had to fix a dent. However with the Kenworth project there was literally dozens and dozens of custom touches that were thought of, presented, engineered, and brought to full creation. I have yet to witness a Master Craftsman vehicle painter/designer on this level! The things that he comes up with and has the ability to weld, fabricate, customized, paint, and install is nothing short of amazing. This is literally the kind of work that you see on TV with the guys that build custom motorcycles and hot rods. It is super fun to just watch his brain work and then to turn it into actual finished product.
5. Integrity. This final thing is the most important when you're going to do business. Talk is cheap and everybody flaps their gums in the beginning trying to make a sale and how they're going to do this and how they're going to do that and how they will take care of you......... well it's true talk is cheap! Throughout this extended project there were many opportunities for integrity tests. Kyle passed everyone with flying colors! AND I WAS WATCHING!.... Things that I knew that I would not have known if he had not have told me. He truly passed the test of an honest man. Super super rare in this industry.
I would not hesitate to recommend Kyle Cook and Eaton Paint and Body for anything that you may need repaired or customized from a small fender bender on a regular car to an extreme custom job and everything in between.

Kyle and his crew at Eaton Paint & Body have been nothing less than 5-Star service for me. I have had two different vehicles in to this establishment and their work and overall service has been exemplary! My daughter has also had two vehicles repaired by Kyle and his staff. We have never had a single problem with this Small Town Body Shop.
I am a Northern Colorado resident and would much prefer to use a local small business rather than the Insurance Company’s preferred list of corporate body shops. I don’t know this for sure but I would speculate that these shops pay to have their name on the Insurance Companies list.
When I have the choice, I will always do business with privately-owned, hard-working owners of small businesses. The quality of their work directly affects the owner’s reputation. As an extremely happy customer, I’m proud to leave my name on this review. Laurie Cover

Kyle and his team went above and beyond on my truck had a lady back into the front of it so I Called Eaton paint and body They said bring it in I brought it in. They tore it down to make sure there was no underlying damages. Got a quote together and attempted to get a hold of insurance with no response from them had almost 2 weeks of it being there insurance finally got back with them and that same day. Kyle and his team actually stayed late to get my truck finished so I can have it back. Highly recommend these guys. Just a sidenote, my fog lights didn’t work when my truck came in and they fixed them as well.

Proceed with caution... my experience was far less than satisfactory. Non stop issues.
I had a side swipe on my vehicle. They got my vehicle "completed" in good time. When I picked up my vehicle, I noticed that the mirror caps were not replaced and a scratch that had not been repaired. Both had been reported and photographed on day one. We scheduled a time to have the car go back at a later date. I drove it home, realized that none of the lights were working on the front of the vehicle. My husband investigated and noticed that the wiring harnesses were not connected. While he was fixing that, he found that the trim pieces around both front wheel wells was just popped into place, but all of the fasteners were missing. Called the shop, they said that it must have been the new tech that had messed up. I took it back in to get that fixed.
Finally it's time to have the scratch and mirror caps completed. I took it back in, they had it there for three days. They called to have me come get it. When I called in to set up a time, they asked me if I'd received any payments for them, I said no, and Ronnie accused me of keeping payments that were in fact for them and they were actually going to keep my car from me. The payment that the were referring to was actually a restitution payment that was court order from the uninsured POS that sideswiped me. After having my insurance broker back me up, and a heated conversation, they gave me my keys.
When I got in my vehicle to leave, I heard a loud snapping noise and noticed that all of the paperwork along with the door decal (that they didn't put on) was still laying in the passenger seat. Completely frustrated, I drove away. As I'm driving, I notice that the mirror that they just "fixed" is wobbling like crazy and the actual mirror itself is barely sticking. I go to the local hardware store and purchase gorilla tape, and secure it myself. Later that evening, the trim that they installed around my headlight flew off at 75 mph, it hit the side of my car (jacking up the paint), hits the side window and flies off the road. We pull over, find the piece, it has a clean snap and multiple broken clips....most likely the snap that I heard when I started the car.
I couldn't be more frustrated with Eaton Auto Body.
