Very poor customer treatment on filling a prescription. Asked me questions about the prescription like she doubted the actual use.
I tried to talk to the manager but she was busy. I would be glad to get a call from the manager to explain what happened. No one should be treated like this just trying to fill a prescription. Won't use them again for anything.

The pharmacy closes for breaks outside of declared hours. Super frustrating.

You never know when the pharmacy will actually be open or not. There have been numerous times when the pharmacy is closed when it should be open with no warning - SOMETIMES the app or website will say the pharmacy is closed but that is rare. I can't count on one hand the times I've gone there to pick something up on a regular day only to find it closed. And they always seem to struggle with my insurance or the few times I had to replace a lost medication and had to pay out of pocketI always brushed it off because I do like a few of the pharm techs who work there but I can't anymore because this time I have some very important pre surgery prescriptions sent there, it said they'd be ready Dec 30th. I know, holiday weekend but Flat out was told they'd be ready. But when I got there they were closed and now it's saying it's 'temporarily closed'. I don't know if it'll open on Tuesday after new years but I can only hope they are so I can get my surgery prep medications, or at least hope I can transfer them to the other walgreens in time. Their inconsistency could easily kill someone depending on the medication and time of year.After this, I'm just moving everything to Walmart.

Walgreens is a pretty lousy store generally, but this one takes the prize. Made an appointment online for a flu/COVID test. When I got there (45min drive away), I was told that they won't honor appointments made within 24hrs of booking despite the fact that the Walgreens website allowed me to book the appointment. In addition I was told that they don't do flu tests even though that is what my appointment was for. Just as a side note, I was also told I should have gone to the drive they and was accused of putting other patients at risk. I also thought it was strange that the confirmation email they sent literally told me to go inside to the pharmacy counter... can't fix incompetence I guess. Unfortunately I need to give them a star to post the review. On the bright side, looks like my one star review won't be lonely on here. People hate this store even more than Walgreens south and I can see why

Store was closed at 9:45 when I showed up, employee lied about closing time(employee also lied when asked why they closed early on the phone) I just needed running alcohol to clean an infected piercing which I can't get now

Pharmacy shut down without any notice and has been working on my prescription for over three business days. Would not recommend the pharmacy under any circumstances.

was refused service today at the drive thru window because I was on a bicycle. Surprised since I’ve use the window for the past 3 + years with no problems. Unacceptable.

Walgreens Durango north pharmacy employee was extremely belligerent and rude. She refused to help with refill prescription and arbitrarily transferred all to another pharmacy and made false claims about the refill giving us lots of grief. Very bad customer service and often closed especially on weekends. My advice don't shop there.

Thanks Melinda,! My wife was sick for 5 days. She talked to the pharmacist Melinda who recommended a product and took her to where it was, and it worked! Everyone in the pharmacy were friendly and helpful.

Bottom line: Do NOT use this pharmacy under any circumstances if you can avoid it. Every time we go to this pharmacy it is either unexpectedly closed, or they have not filled the RX. I feel for the staff as they are clearly stressed and underresourced. Whoever the store manager is, pay more so you can get reliable personnel in the door. Your level of service is abominable. The 28 Town Plaza Walgreens and Rivergate seem to be doing just fine. Go there. Details: Today, I went to pick up my husband's asthma medicine. - We had received a text saying his rx was ready. - I called and their automated system said it is being worked on. - I went to pick it up and they said Dr had rescinded the RX. I asked to speak to a supervisor as it made no sense. Her speaker was not working on the drive-through, so I was "interrupting her" In a condescending tone, she said, "Are you going to let me finish or keep interrupting me?" - Turns out the first employee was looking at the wrong RX. - Their automated system still says the RX is being filled - I called again the automated attendant said the pharmacy is closed. I called the main store and had them transfer me to the pharmacy . - Spoke with the supervisor again and they are out of the medication. How does this happen? The supervisor did take a moment to chastise me for not knowing the name of the RX I was picking up. - I have now spent an hour trying to get my husband his RX that we need before a flight on Tuesday. Understand he called the refill in a WEEK AGO. If this were the only bad experience with this Walgreens I would not have bothered to document the experience. However: - my husband went three times to pick up an RX in the past months and they were randomly closed and did not have the RX ready despite a text saying it was. - I personally spoke with someone at Walgreens and they told me the medication I needed for a life-threatening illness would be ready at 11am. I've had Walgreens service my medications for 20 years. I have used several different Walgreen locations all over the country. This location is absolutely useless, incompetent, uncaring and indifferent. I was lied to twice by personnel regarding when my medication was to be ready. And told that my refill request was never received. They never offered to call other locations to see if they had the medication in stock. Only after I insisted that they do so did they call one location down the street. Finally told me it would be 2-3 days. I left and called City Market who also did not have it in stock but got it filled 2.5 hours later. Upper management needs to seriously look at the issues of this location. As a business owner I would NEVER tolerate such incompetence. They caused me to leave Walgreens for good after being a loyal 20 yr customer. But of course they don't really care...so.....
