I went in and showed the guy what I wanted and he kept telling me that he won’t do it. I said gel, he did dip, I said red, he did blue. I told him I didn’t ask for this and he got upset. Don’t come here if you want friendly service. Definitely go to happy nails or luxury if you’re in DGO. Not to mention how much they charge. I payed $65. I’m from DGO and none of my friends have had good experiences either.

I was excited to come here and had scheduled my appt about a week in advance but was really disappointed that they didn't respect my appointment time for 5pm. I arrived about 8 minutes early and then waited until 5:11 before I left. It takes about an hour to do acrylics so if I had started anytime after 5:10, I would have been late to an event I needed to be at at 630. Why bother booking an appt if it won't start at the time I expected/planned for. Disappointing.

Hello. My husband and I went in for pedicures today. My husband's was fine but mine was not. My heels didn't look any better than how I walked in. They are very rough and still cracking. No help with any solution when I brought that to his attention or several others attention. He said you need a cheese grater. I said that I just need what I walked in there for, a pedicure. It was the whole point of getting one, making my feet better. Horrible job. We spent almost $90.00 on a basic pedicure, because that's all you had time for, but what a horrible job. My husband left a $30.00 tip, which in my mind wasn't worth a $5.00 tip. I personally would like a refund. This is what my feet look like afterwards.

Let me begin by saying I've been regularly getting my nails done for 30 years at home and many times traveling. I only needed a manicure on this particular day and the young man who I was unfortunate to get was condescending and so rude. He reprimanded me like I was a child on numerous occasions. On top of that he did the absolute bare minimum just to be done. I don't expect special treatment but I do expect to be treated with courtesy.

Beware, I had a pedicure and then 2 days later had several warts on the bottom of my foot.

If I could give this nail salon zero stars I would. That was the worst pedicure I've ever had. We went there for Mother's Day (first thing in the morning and they weren't busy) and the three of us were done in 20 minutes. Usually speed is nice, but when you go in for a relaxing pedicure it should take longer than 20 minutes. And if you have a fast option, you should put that on your website or at least let people know that they are getting a super basic pedicure that is fast and doesn't include anything. And to note, I didn't get the cheapest pedicure they offer.
The girl who did my pedicure barely put warm water in the tub and then I asked her not to cut my toenails but to just file them and she didn't listen to me (yes, she responded when I said file only) and cut them way too short, painfully short. She didn't use any of the tools that are normally used for a pedicure and then when she painted my toenails it looked like a kindergartener painted them. There was nail polish on my skin and there were parts of my big toe that were thicker with nail polish than the other part of my toenail.
She asked me if I had gotten my manicure done there and I politely said no and she argued with me and said that my nails were the work of their nail salon and I again politely told her no and that I live in Colorado Springs and got them done there.
So again, if I could give this salon zero stars I would. And unfortunately in a small town like Durango there aren't a bunch of options. But I tell every single person I know who lives there to not go here and to spend the extra time going to Farmington or to use a smaller salon downtown.

They did a horrible job. All
I asked for a full set square French tip. They always want to up sale you and they just do whatever they not what you ask them for . He left his fingerprints on the nails and told me it would go away on its own lol after the nails had been cured. I would rate it no stars.

Worst customer service ever. Young was the tech. Came in grumpy and ended up kicking me out for no apparent reason. This all happened before he even began the pedicure which was to be followed by an acrylic fill. Paige, the owner, did not make any effort to remedy the situation with me, the customer. I would not recommend this place to people I don’t like let alone someone I do.
Stylist: Young was horrid and page was no better

Been here a handful of time when I come to visit. I got a basic mani, it was fine for the price. Poor customer service- my mail guy took at least 10 appts while I was getting my nails done. Not friendly, although polite. Vibe of place was also unappealing. I would go to another place if I found a price that was similar.

I have been using Kishia at VIP for a while and have NEVER been disappointed! Not only is she an awesome person to hangout with while getting nails done, but she also takes a lot of pride in her work. She always takes the time to make your nails exactly how you want them, and never rushes/does a sloppy job.

i’ve gone to vip for many years!!!!!! i am not particular in my technician, but today i had mymy. and she will be the lady i go to from now on. i came in with outgrown acrylic, needing a refill. she asked what color i wanted to do, and i said you pick. i’m not picky. she told me to trust the process and to take off my acrylics and do a deep dip, to grow healthy and strong nails. she choose a cute summer yellow and added chrome. she told me she could draw anything i wanted. was very sweet, and knew exactly what my nails needed. very impressed. every technician is good there, i’m just excited to find a lady who took the extra step to help me with my nails!!!

Terrible attitude - was rude and didn't want to apply the polish I had with me. I offered to pay more at the beginning

Have been here multiple times. We have terrible salons in Durango and this one has been OK. Have yet to be blown away ever and today was a very very mediocre pedicure. Took about twenty minutes and looks like a non professional am painted my nails. I really want to know where the good reviews come from and who does their nails.theyre already super crazy busy. They focus on just pumping out numbers. Quantity over quality. They need to be appt only and focus on each client at a less rushed and Chaotic pace

Worst pedicure I have ever had! Got the deluxe pedicure, I was done in less than an hour, and last 15 minutes her painting my nails. Had to ask twice to have callous removed. The lady told me I can't have a design on regular polish, only gel (I never use gel and always get a design) Place was dirty, kids running around, leather in chairs worn out. Would not recommend this place!

I got acrylic nails done for prom and was so happy with the results! The woman who did my nails was named Mimi and all I had to do is give her a picture of what I wanted and she was able to do it. They have lasted and stayed in great shape and color for over a month! I have gotten so many compliments and it fit perfectly with my dress! I highly recommend VIP nails if you are looking for a manicure and or cool designs in acrylic.
