“True Confession - I am as guilty as many of you of making Walmart the punchline in casual jokes. Fast Forward to yesterday when I am on vacation, looking like I have been Camping for a few days (hoping I don't end up on a photo site of Walmart Customers...haha) and I find a Walmart "near you". So I stumble into the Optical Center with my 3 year old and her broken glasses. Awesome service, friendly staff and very kind to my kiddo while the glasses are Fixed and she can actually SEE again! Walmart Optical in Durango CO Saved Our Vacation.”
“I went in to get my modem and router. The sales representative Rich Alder was fantastic! I did not have everything I needed to pick it up but he was patient while I grabbed then.
When I has everything he offered to put everything in a bag and gave me his card of I had any problems.
I called their service number and they were helpful to an extent. Going in was 100% easier.

“These guys are total pros. I snapped the screen of my laptop off its hinges, and immediately brought it in. They walked me through my options and the associated costs. They were very transparent, showing me the parts cost from their supplier, and what they would charge for labor. I decided to just replace the computer with a used one they had sitting in their display, which would be less than fixing mine. Here's where they really shine, I came back in the next day with my tail between my legs, having realized I didn't actually need to buy another computer due to my unused backup, which I initially didn't think would be sufficient. They very kindly stopped the data-clone on my broken PC, and offered a nice little compromise. They would only charge me my clone deposit + about an hour's labor to turn my laptop into a desktop, and cleanly remove the broken parts so I can get it fixed at a later date.
TLDR: After breaking my computer in half, I am now $87 down with a fully functioning desktop with built in keyboard, in possession of all the parts I need if I'm to spend $300 to restore my PC to it's former self.”
