This place has been great! Super easy to sign up for a unit, took about 10-15 minutes over the phone. Very affordable and clean. The owner is super friendly and responds quickly. I have never any issues for the year I have needed the storage unit. Perfect price and location! Will definitely use again if I need storage in the future and highly recommend! Thanks again La Plata Mini Storage...I will send any storage references your way.

Email La Plata Mini Storage to reserve a 10x10 storage unit. Got an email back informing me I had a unit reserved. The day of my arrival, I called several times plus emailed them but no answer..Got to the storage unit, no one was there, no one would answer the phone or respond to any emails. In my opinion I think this is beyond poor customer service...This made things very difficult; The hired movers had to wait around until I found a company who would take me at a moment's notice was very difficult and very expensive. I hope this never happens to anyone else.

RENTER BEWARE!! `The woman who runs this storage outfit RIPPED US OFF!! Promised to refund our deposit when we found a home to rent, even returned our call saying, couldn't put the money back on our card for "some reason" then said she would just send us a check..Over a month now, Check? No dice...Sad deal, worthless person. Good Luck.

Never in a million years would I have thought that I would be writing a review for a storage unit facility but this place has been awesome. For one, you can reserve online if units are available. In this day in age, I see this as a must. The manager is absolutely splendid. She is super friendly and extremely helpful! She helped me get into a larger unit and I asked her to keep an eye out for a smaller one for when I moved and she did exactly that! Someone else said the gate is always open, but I've never experienced that. It's a little ways out of town, but in a place where storage units can be hard to come by - especially in the summer - I don't mind.

the gate is rarely closed and they charge you even after you have moved out of the unit you rent - not the best use of your money
