This company is a total rip off. They are doing underhanded stuff here and they won’t last much longer. They refused to pay out on a policy that my mom had taken out a little over 16 years ago and that they had already deposited the check into their account for . Then afterwards they sent out information to try and cover their tracks which still ain’t gone work. They will be sued!!! I truly wish I wasn’t even feeling forced to give them this one star to be able to submit my post. A zero is what they need all across the board. I could write it out detail for detail but it would probably go past filling up the review slot

They denied my mom her life insurance claims. She passed while being hospitalized for a couple of months. My mom was terminally ill and on medication that kept her sleeping a lot and her memory was not the same. She was traumatized and fighting for her life for her final two months. So, she went pass her grace period. When she passed they terminated her life insurance policy after all the years of receiving payments from her. If I had known, I would have paid her final month payment before the grace period. I was not the beneficiary. I have a list of attorneys I will be talking to. Don’t spend your money with these heartless blood suckers. They’re like casinos they take in but, they don’t want to pay out. If I could rate a zero I would.

The Empowerment Retirement branch of the company is incredibly disorganized, and their customer service is lacking - it takes several days for them to reply, and they don't read your questions thoroughly enough to answer them. They can't find accounts even when all pertinent information is given to them, and they're unwilling to offer any help online or via email. If I could rate them 0 stars, I would.
