I may add more her as I think of it, but my husband and I had an AMAZING wedding experience here! Sarah the wedding coordinator is a delight to interact with and very professional - she was on top of everything throughout our entire process, in both planning and execution. The grounds of the event center are beautifully maintained and landscaped - it looks like a fairytale cottage when you first approach the venue. The photo opportunities would never have you thinking that a major roadway is only 20 feet away (the small bridges leading towards the golf course were particularly charming). The character of the building and the antiques showcased in many parts of the interior gave us a lot of room to cut costs on decor, so even on a slightly more modest budget, you can have a truly visually beautiful wedding here. They also offer a more modern tent add-on if you prefer that type of set up for your ceremony.Any staff around when Sarah or the owner were not were super helpful and friendly. The layout is very walkable and for the most part, very accessible (the only complaint I have is that there is no elevator that leads to the bride's dressing suite, but he stairs up to it are only about a half a flight). The bridal suite for getting ready is spacious and absolutely gorgeous, and includes a bathroom, closet with safes, and lots of vanities and natural lighting to do makeup/hair in. The groom's room is much more modest, but includes a TV, and there are complimentary drinks and other refreshments for both rooms while the wedding party gets ready. Outside alcohol is not permitted, as with many venues, but they were courteous enough to fill an outside container for us (a flask that has made it to many other weddings as a family tradition). For dining, no need to deal with a caterer - plated dinner is included with your contract (no large cake service, but they offer tasty dessert bar options). Our tasting experience was seamless and streamlined. The food was incredible, and with the appropriate amount of notice, the kitchen is very amenable to making accommodations for allergies and other dietary restrictions. The venue also offers a wide range of colored linens to customize your tables, so if you are able to find something that works for your theme, there's no need to deal with an outside vendor for those. The only complaint I would have is that some of desserts we selected to be served were a little frozen still (one was a cheesecake and one was a raspberry mousse), but we also ordered a cake from elsewhere, and had other options from the venues that didn't have this issue. I still wouldn't take away a star for this small thing.I would absolutely recommend this venue to others for their wedding.

The Wellshire inn met my expectations for my wedding and beyond. It was everything I imagined for my day. Chris promised us a good hot meal and that’s exactly what we got. Sarah my coordinator for my big day was truly my rock and helped made the day flawless and kept my stress to a bare minimum. Such a beautiful venue that accommodated my large wedding. Truly perfection. Thank you Wellshire!!

We had our wedding here and everything went great. Multiple guests complimented both the venue and the food. Food was advertised by Chris - it is not the best meal you are going to eat in your life, but it is hot and it is good. The Wellshire had staff turnover between our booking and event so we switched in house wedding coordinators at some point, which was seamless. Sarah Ringler was great with communication and extremely helpful as our date approached, details needed finalizing, last minute guest list changes occurred after the cut off, etc. Even handled a last minute wine sourcing request.Day of everything was stress free on our side with respect to setup. I'm not aware of any issues that arose needing addressing which means that either Sarah made sure there were no issues or she handled them without needing to burden us and without us noticing. The indoor/indoor setting for ceremony/reception was also a blessing as we got the first snow of the year on our wedding day.

Wow!! The Wellshire Event Center was absolutely spectacular. From the set up of the bridal suite to putting out the numerous table decorations. Not to mention, the flawless implementation of all the bridal couple's requests. Sarah and her team, by far, exceeded our expectations!! It was just perfect and our daughter and new son-in-law have beautiful memories of their perfect day. Thank you, Wellshire!! You were amazing!!

We had such a fabulous wedding! All the planning and prep and execution was just amazing! Sarah was a dream to work with from start to finish. She happily answered every single email I sent her (there were probably a hundred!!) And she was there every step of the way on wedding day. I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you Sarah and the whole Wellshire team!!

If I could give more stars I would. We just had our wedding there on 7.13.23 and everything was perfect. Chris (the owner), Sarah, and the team were so amazing throughout the entire process! The day went so smoothly from beginning to end, we couldn’t have asked for a better wedding! We were so blown away that the staff made sure that everyone that was out taking pics during cocktail hour also got to enjoy the appetizers. Sarah was so amazing and so patient with us and our families throughout the millions of questions and requests we had. Thank you so so much Wellshire for making our wedding so amazing in every way!

Wow! We just got married here yesterday and we were so pleased with everything from beginning to end! So many venues expect you to set up and clean up, bring in EVERYTHING you need and were absurdly expensive. The Wellshire is a one stop shop. They provided everything except our DJ and photographer! Our wedding planner (that comes with the venue!!) Sarah R. was so easy to work with and so responsive and so gracious and kind. The staff was so friendly and it’s just a beautiful and historical building. And the food was good too! Wedding food is usually pretty forgettable but everything was really good! Really can’t beat the price and the staff! Oh! And the bridal and groom suites are DOPE!!

Before I state my comments, let me just say that I did not hold an event here. This review is to share my reasoning for not hosting an event here as these considerations were of high value to us in our wedding planning, and the cost was nearly double for less value, than the venue we did choose.I’m a Denver Native and the Wellshire has been a landmark my entire life, so I was looking forward to seeing the venue. However, I have to say I was just disappointed. It is in pretty diar need of deep cleaning and some cosmetic repair/upgrades. The owner took us on the tour and I’m sure he doesn’t even notice the dirt or dust, much less the first impression, but as someone from a restaurant and catering family, I had a million suggestions for the facility to just present better, such as cleaning before you show it, and a need for deep cleaning and polishing, better organization of storage as much was disorganized/cluttered and not well concealed, new linens vs linens with many noticeable repairs, and by far, more lighting, open the shades! For a tour on a Saturday morning, it is really dark in there. The owner had numerous opinions, and a few hard rules, about what to include or not include, and some are ideas we definitely appreciated, but many just were based on opinion, such as only offering plated meals (versus a buffet) with large portions (very clearly stated), of which I’m certain a great deal would go to waste. It is a beautiful venue, and per other reviews, many have loved it. But from my view, it’s been taken for granted and needs some fresh eyes and love to truly honor its lore and luster.

It's an okay venue. If you like old architectural designs, great woodwork then this is the place for you. Their food is okay.

I've had the privilege to photograph multiple weddings at the Wellshire Event Center in Denver, Colorado. I love creating images for the bride and groom at historical buildings, and Wellshire definitely brings that. Their large indoor tent is great for ceremony's and I love there main reception area.My favorite part of the Wellshire is there professionalism and positivity. Sarah and the management and staff have always treated me with respect and kindness. That go's a long way being a fellow vendor. I highly recommend the Wellshire!

The Wellshire was the best venue I could have hoped for for my wedding. It's an absolutely stunning, rustic, building on a beautiful golf course, and the owner really tries to take care of his clients. Most of the staff is absolutely fantastic, and I love that the venue is all-inclusive-- the things I had to provide is my own decor, a photographer, a videographer, a DJ, and the officiant. All the day-of staff, coordination, and food came from The Wellshire. From the guest's perspective, everything went absolutely perfectly. From the bride's perspective, there were definitely things (coordination related) that needed work, but I had a great time anyway. Best day ever!

We had a wedding at the Wellshire in June of 2021. The venue was beautiful and since we had to delay a couple of times due to Covid, they were very accommodating. Set up of decor was gorgeous, food was good and service from staff on the day of was okay - nothing outstanding but fine.Only a couple of real cons. The wedding coordinator, Kacey’s response time was extremely slow. Wedding planning is stressful enough so when you’re waiting on her response or having to email a couple of time because she still hasn’t responded, it makes everything that much more stressful. The second thing was a BIG error on their part. The day of the wedding, they mixed up 2 tables and put my in-laws in a back corner table and random distant out of state relatives up front and center. I was horrified when I sat down at the head table for dinner and saw the mixup. Needless to say my husband’s family weren’t happy either.
