Shoutout to the whole team for being so kind and genuinely caring about my pet’s health. Every interaction has been so positive and professional.
In particular, go see Dr Becky Graf if you can! She’s been our vet for more than a decade, and we followed her to Urban Vet. Dr Graf is the kind of person who takes care of your whole family, humans and pets alike. She always explains clearly what’s going on, and every option you have, but also takes into account what’s actually best for your pets quality of life and what you yourself can manage. When I was young and broke, that meant telling me my cats would need to get their teeth cleaned way ahead of time so I could get the money together. Now, with very elderly cats and a basically stable bank account, that’s telling me an invasive procedure might be too hard on their hearts, here’s some gentler options. (She also always calls personally with test results and follow ups to explain them and to plan next steps).
The more knowledgeable and informed we are, the better we can take care of our fur babies. Dr Graf makes sure we’re all working together to give our pets their best lives.

We recently decided to switch vets and chose Urban Vet Care to try out. We are so glad we did because it’s been such a great experience. We brought our two dogs in for their appointments together, they took time to get to know us and each dog’s background. Dr. Graf offered her opinion on a few things but never pressured us to opt in to anything that wasn’t in our budget so we could decide what worked for us and on our timeline.
A teeth cleaning was recommended for our one dog and she suggested using yearly bloodwork needed for a medication to also be used for the teeth cleaning pre-work which was nice to hear them recommend something to save some us money if we scheduled the appointments in a certain time period.
The teeth cleaning was also a wonderful experience due to the frequent text updates as well as multiple calls from Dr. Rupp Fuller when they found a damaged tooth that needed extracted and afterwards to recap the procedure.
The front desk staff has also been so pleasant to work with, very helpful and always answer the phone and even when they have to ask a question to the vet staff it’s always immediate so I’ve never have to play phone tag (which was a problem at previous vets).
Overall I would highly recommend Urban Vet Care to anyone looking for friendly and reliable care for their pet.

Urban Vet Care in Denver, Colorado has been absolutely amazing in taking care of our dog, Theo! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming staff, making us feel right at home. Their facility is modern and well-maintained, reflecting the high level of care they provide. The veterinarians and technicians are incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly and ensuring Theo receives the best treatment possible.
Whether it’s routine check-ups or addressing more complex health concerns, Urban Vet Care has consistently gone above and beyond. Theo, who can sometimes be a bit anxious, feels comfortable and at ease during every visit, which speaks volumes about their gentle and professional approach. We’re so grateful for the exceptional service they provide, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch veterinary care in Denver.

I don't even know where to start with how much I love this place.
1. The office lets me call or email all the time with questions and they get back to me so quickly with answers and guidance.
2. The front desk team is a delight. They are helpful, they are caring, they are friendly. My pup refuses to leave the office until he gets to say hello to everyone behind the desk because he knows they treat him so well.
3. The entire space is clean of dust, treat crumbs, and fur. It is very well maintained.
4. The doctors on staff are always so friendly. They are more than willing to answer every question I have (and I always have a lot) and take the time to make sure I feel comfortable and confident. And they treat my pup so well. My dog is so excited whenever the vet staff come into the room because he is treated so well.
5. They are so thoughtful and follow up with calls to check on my pup and make sure I feel like I have their support.
There is for sure more I am missing but all of it is to say that I have never had a bad experience here and I am forever thankful to the Urban Vet Care team for the above and more.

Lesson learned: always leave the review and tell your friends about your weird experience. I was new to the area around two years ago and Urban Vet Care was the closest vet office to me. Vet techs and the doctor who attended to us collectively had a pretentious, dismissive attitude. Questions seemed like a bother. Excuse me, when i'm paying close to $300 to tend to both my animals, no questions should be left unanswered or leave me feeling like it's not my place to want a thorough understanding of what is being done to them. I'm a cautious cat owner and something about the way my two cats were being handled just left a bad taste in my mouth.
Needless to say, I followed my gut, pulled their records immediately after, and never went back. Fast forward, I hear a tragic story of a friend of mines 4 year old cat that passed away (read it for yourself below) and low and behold, urban vet care has a big part to play. If you're a thorough pet owner that invests in quality care for your animal, this isn't the place for you or your animal. Trust your gut. If you think your experience was a little weird or these reviews make you look at this place side eyed, believe us and go elsewhere.

I have been going to Urban Vet Care for over 3 years with 3 of my animals. Despite their seemingly high pricing, I had been treated with kindness and what I felt was good care. This changed last week when my sister's cat, Carmen died from an extreme asthma attack which Dr. Graf nonchalantly told my sister to "put him under a humidifier" in lieu of prescribing an inhaler. (Read that again.)
The responses she has gotten from the owner, manager, and receptionists has been nothing short of absolute indifference and coldness. Not a single person expressed grief for the loss of her cat (whom they had been treating since he was a kitten), called her back, provided call logs to prove they conveyed the proper recommended care to her (she was told she would receive the history of her recorded calls, only for them to tell her they "got a new phone system" days later). When my sister finally got a call from the owner, they were disconnected and she did NOT hear back, despite sending two follow up emails.
Dr. Graf even told her Carmen's asthma attack was a "good reminder to share with her staff on how severe asthma can be".
No one took any responsibility for their role in not providing the proper medicine for him. The loss of this cat has been devastating. He deserved better, faster care. I have relocated my animals ASAP and would deeply consider you do the same with yours. I am writing this review to inform. As someone who has experienced the untimely death of a pet myself, I truly believe it's important to share knowledge. Who knows, you may not be gouged for pricing at your next Vet either.
**I am sure Urban Vet Care will respond to my message in defense, which of course is allowed, but I am proud and content knowing my review will stay put, for all to see, despite of it.**

honestly wish i could leave zero stars. this place is a scam and their owner/staff have zero empathy training. a good friend of mine lost her 4 year old cat in a matter of a week, because of their negligence and follow through… isn’t care for our animals why you exist? separately, my own experience with them hasn’t been stellar. my dog was having eye trouble and I asked to bring her in same day. they told me they had a cancellation and I could take that appt but proceeded to charge me an emergency visit fee… would never trust this place for any serious care for my animals. i pulled their records and will be establishing care elsewhere.

Do not bring your animal here. I am writing this review because of the recent passing of my cat, while under the care of Urban Vet. Here is my story:
I had been bringing all 3 of my animals here for close to 7 years now and just brought in my last one to establish care only a few weeks ago. I have loved Urban Vet for so many years and have recommended them to several people who have since pulled their pets records and will not be returning.
I had taken my cat to get his teeth cleaned back in April, after which he immediately suffered distress and trouble breathing. I was told my Urban Vet that he had asthma but nothing was done about it; no follow up appointment, medication prescribed or long term medical plan put in place.
I had called Urban Vet last week to request medication for him since his vet Dr. Graf told me he was asthmatic back in April. She told me that she could not get me the prescribed inhaler for close to 3-4 weeks and to just “put him in front of a humidifier” and he would be fine.
My cat was hospitalized later that day and had to spend over 15 hours in an oxygen tank, receiving several steroid shots, lasik and bloodwork, x-rays, etc. The vet at VEG said to me it was the worst case of asthma she had ever seen. We did not think we was going to make it.
When I called Urban Vet the following day asking to speak with the manager (Heather) and owner (Amy), I was met with such disregard and nonchalance that I was in complete shock.
I spoke to the owner Amy for close to an hour last Tuesday, was hung up on and have since sent 2 follow emails, none of which I have heard back from. One of them was letting her know my cat has since passed from yet another asthma attack and underlying congestive heart failure.
When I had brought him to VEG for the first time they had asked me if it could be his heart and I said absolutely not, that he was just at his vet and they would have told me.
When I called Urban Vet to get his medical records last Thursday after his passing, I found both notifications on there stating that he potentially had early CHF as well as an “abnormal heart condition.” None of which was conveyed to me.
I have asked Urban Vet to hold themselves accountable and do the right thing but no one will admit negligence or malpractice, both of which I believe has taken place.
The people working at this practice do not care about your animals. It is easy to give a rabies shot and to perform a check up and take your money. Apparently when it comes to more serious matters with your animal, they clearly are not experts in animal care, client care, communication, or empathy training, but instead, first care about covering themselves.
I spoke with someone at the front desk after my cat passed and even told her that’s why I was calling. She did not even respond to that and instead asked if she could put me on hold. When she came back on the line I asked her if she has heard me and all she said was “yep.” These are the kind of people that are working up front, helping to handle your animals. Her name is Maria.
My hopes in writing this review (which I have never done before) is to hopefully save another animal from what happened to mine. Do NOT bring your animals here.
To the owner, Amy Rupp Fuller, Rebecca Graf, the manager Heather and Maria at the front desk- shame on you.

I used to go to Urban Vet when we lived nearby and found them to be competent and caring. When we moved to Parker, I was struggling to find a place that could respectfully and safely deal with my frightened, nervous, rescue pup that dislikes vet visits. So back to Urban Vet we went with him. Driving 45 min for a vet appt is worth every minute of traffic. They are beyond understanding and so patient to work with me and my pup to make the experience as stress-free as possible. A special thank you to Dr. Graf, Dr. Zambon, and the amazing vet techs.

The vets here are genuinely helpful and knowledgeable. They have steered me away from surgery because my dog might not have tolerated the procedure at her age- this surprised me because I know procedures can be profitable for them. So, I think they have your pet's interest at heart. Their clinic manager Heather is very helpful and kind
