Had a reservation set 4 days ago only to get told that it won't be there. Completely ruined my plans. I will never go through this company again

Picked up a truck and there was no gas in it. I checked outside and upon arriving to my destination, there were loads of trash and boxes of stuff in back. Someone has spilled sticky juice everywhere, cabin dirty. Brakes were squeaking and barely worked. I would never go back. I tried contacting U-haul and nothing was done.

This is the worst Uhaul location I’ve ever been to. When they’re open sign is on during business hours they are actually closed. There selection of boxes is a few XL and a few XS. This is not a proper Uhaul location.

they park their uhauls on a hill so that the gauge says they have more gas in them than they actually do and when you return the truck with the same amount of gas it had in it when you picked it up they say you didn't put enough gas in it and they charge you for it.

Apparently guaranteed reservations don’t mean anything. Reserved a month ahead of time and traveled across state only to show up and car isn’t available. Terrible.

This location is horrible, I won’t rent from here again. Two weeks in a row I had issues. The first week they wouldn’t release the truck to my son because they said his name wasn’t on the reservation (I had called to verify earlier in that day). Their system shuts down at 5 so they can’t access everything. Over an hour later we finally worked it out. Last night they said they couldn’t find our reservation at all and we needed to make a new one, but you can’t do that after 4:30. After an hour and a half of calling the direct uhaul number, sending over copies of the reservation etc they said we had to do online check in when they finally found it. So I tried to sign in and do it online. It just was looping back to the start page. Called again and they said it happens all the time to call the online verification number and someone can do it for me. I was on hold for over a half our and finally gave up. NEVER EVER AGAIN. We ended up having to get friends to bring multiple vehicles and make multiple trips back and forth.

Well, first I want to say: screw you Swift Academy!Now: I drove a 15, because I had a lot of things to move and needed the ramp. Had minor issues, because the engine would not turn over (did not know a technicality)...when I got to the destination I locked the keys in the truck by accident (keys had broken off the tab while I was loading...evil ppl in Denver). Reliable showed up; luckily for insurance ($h!t happens)....on the trip to return the truck somebody had messed with the driver side mirror (I noticed it during the pre trip check).All in all the young guy was great that took my order.Will be using UHAUL when I have to move. This was my first big and complete move... plus I drove a truck Swift. Screw you to Racy (CO idiot) with that other school and the heifer in Salt Lake too.

Not horrible if you're doing it during work hours. How to try this process four times before I got it right because my hours did not work with the businesses hours however they Allow an option to get it outside of hours which I would 100% not recommend. First time I did it I wasn't able to even get my truck because it was blocked in and because we were outside working hours I was unable to get any help or communication. If you need a U-Haul hundred percent would recommend doing it during the hours maybe early in the day so that you don't have to wait.

Not sure if this is the best place to leave the 1 star review or not, but that's for Uhaul to worry about. I had a reservation for a 1 way 26' truck on a Monday morning. Saturday, someone from Uhaul called to ask if I would be willing to do an in-town move. We preferred not to, so they said we could do a 1-way with a 20' truck. We agreed and figured we were all set.Morning of Monday as we're on our way to pickup the truck and I can't find my reservation.. I look under my past reservations and I see that it has been canceled. No call. Just an email the morning after the in-call confirmation I got the evening before. Obviously we were busy packing everything up all Sunday so I didn't see it.I called Uhaul's main number and was finally able to get a hold of someone who was able to secure me the last 26' truck in Denver for an in-town move.Not sure if this is on Uhaul "corporate" or this store but since I booked it at this store, they get the review. This store was past like 4 other Uhaul locations but I chose it because it was the only location with a "guaranteed truck" that day. For reference I had booked this about 3 weeks in advance.

I reserved a truck online, it showed the truck size I needed was available at a particular location for the date I needed. I called to modify my reservation and they said they never had that size of truck available (even on the day originally scheduled) they only had a much smaller truck available and I couldn't do the move one way as originally scheduled either I would have to bring the truck back and pay mileage, leaving me in a HUGE bind to find a way to conduct my move!!!!!!! I called and spoke with someone at the local office but never told me they didn't have the size of truck I needed available. This is the worst run outfit I have ever used! Do not use them, moving is stressful enough as it is, then to find out they don't have the truck you reserved available at the last minute is the most awful thing for someone on a very strict timeline to be out of their home. SHAME ON YOU UHAUL! I now have no idea how I am going to get my move done, if I had known from the get go they didn't have a truck available, I would have figured something else out weeks ago. Ridiculous, avoid this company! They need a much better reservation system in place that shows in real time what is available and customer service reps who actually care, instead of total jerks. Please if you are moving avoid UHAUL!
