You must visit this lovely gift shop in south Denver. DU students this is the place to find something nice for mom or someone special. Funny cards too! Such a great small business with lots of great things to choose from and the owner is a real peach. I always find something unique and beautiful here!

About seven years ago, my stepmom gave me a unique and beautifully designed and handcrafted Tree of Life necklace that she purchased from Tulip Gifts and Cards. I loved it and wore it daily, until I realized I had lost it. I was heartbroken about the necklace, and further that it reminded me of the loss of my beloved stepmom who had passed away a few years ago. I searched for a replacement, but didn't come across anything I liked. It occurred to me that perhaps if I reached out to Tulip, where my stepmom purchased the gift, there might be something similar, or at least something that I would like. I live in Los Angeles and had never been in this Denver gem, but I had received other gifts from Tulip, and I knew how much my stepmom loved their selection of unique items. She had GREAT taste. I got in touch with Sharon Richards, the owner who I learned had bought the shop two and a half years earlier. I was concerned that with new ownership, she may not carry the same items. It was a stretch anyway after seven years. Sharon said that Tulip still works with that artist and she proceeded to send me a photo of two similar Tree of Life pendants. I was thrilled, but was a bit disappointed as they were oval shaped instead of round. Sharon said she would reach out to the artist to see if she might have a round pendant. She did ... one round pendant was left!! Sharon coordinated with the artist and sent the necklace, which I received today! I LOVE it, and I am so appreciative that Sharon worked hard to try to find what I had cherished. At that point, while I was concerned about the cost, I was prepared to spend whatever it took. I was so relieved when I learned that it was within my grasp. I can't wait for my next trip to Denver when I can visit the store myself. Thank you so much Sharon and Tulip for your great kindness and help!

Didn't realize we had a shop like this in the University Hills area until I drove by and stopped in today. Love the selection of local art and unique gifts!! I will definitely be back.

A gift card shop closed on mothers day idgaf if its apart of your regular schedule to be closed on Sunday if a holiday happens to land on a Sunday it would be a smart decision to keep your store open cause those are the days you will make the most buisness I really feel like the owner is shooting herself or himself in the foot if they knew how much money they would have made off me alone if they would have been open today

This place is great. If you are looking for a unique high quality gift this is the place. So many fun and beautiful things it was hard to narrow down what to pick. I ended up with an awesome pair of earrings and and a hand made card that was so cool looking I might frame it. I love that while I'm shopping a small local business , I'm also getting a big selection from local artists. Definitely my new go to for gifts. Glad I found Tulip in time for the holidays.
