Very impressive selection at this huge gift shop! So many interesting things… A wide variety of outdoor fountains and decor, amazing candles, mobiles… So much all in the theme of the wonderful gardens… We spent a long time here, and still didn’t see everything! Don’t miss this shop when you visit the gardens!

If you love parks, outdoor areas, and greenery, you will love the botanic gardens!Every season, there are different additions to the gardens. For example, in the fall there are often light shows or other family-friendly events. But my favorite time to visit is during early summer (early June). This is when most things are planted and it's usually not too hot (I think July is the hottest as a Colorado native). There's a great mix of trees, flowers, bushes, all kinds of plants from all different places, art exhibits, waterfalls, and plenty of places to take photos or my favorite, have a picnic. There's plenty of seating so it feels like you're in a giant park. There's areas with shade as well, grass areas, benches, and formal seating areas near the cafe/restaurant. I recommend bringing water, tennis shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and snack or picnic food for the best time! You can buy tickets in advance and find free parking around.

We have come off and on throughout the years. When the kids were little to come for picnics and to play with friends while strolling through the gardens. As the kids got older, we did some of their holiday lights. Recently we visited for a girl scouts of colorado event. All of our experiences have been positive throughout the years. And it is beautiful and peaceful regardless of when you come. Though obviously more stuff is blooming in the summer months.

Very peaceful place. I think it is a good place to bring in a picnic basket and have lunch, spend some quality time with the people you love, and skedaddle. There was not much in bloom (even though we went at the peak of spring). I was almost born walking around. It was cool because we saw a wild bunny, a pet cat, and some bees). We also took a yoga class in the morning, I was a bit disappointed it was inside a buidlining even though the weather was so nice! We could of had the class in the actual gardens. I Just wish there was more to see.

Beautiful place to spend a few hours walking around! The tulips were in bloom and were absolutely stunning. We also enjoyed the Japanese garden and the indoor rainforest area. The free parking was convenient. I highly recommend bringing a picnic to enjoy in the lovely atmosphere here.

My fiancé, our girlfriend and I attended a wedding here today. Before the wedding, we got to walk around and check the place out. The foliage here is amazing and absolutely beautiful. The entire garden is clean, well kept and well marked. It took just about an hour to walk the place and see the vast majority of it. It's a very peaceful, serene and it's amazing it's right in the middle of downtown Denver. Parking is free and very easy. It only cost me 15 dollars to walk through the doors and it was a well spent 15 dollars. As a wedding venue, it was perfect. Water, waterfalls, trees, plants, flowers and gazebos. My fiancé and I just might get married here if we don't get married overseas. She fell in love with the place. As did I. This was the first time I've been to the Botanical Gardens and it certainly won't be my last. I'm very impressed.

This place is stunning in the Spring and Summer. A little oasis in the middle of Denver. There are currently tons of tulips and daffodils in bloom and they are getting ready for the summer planting. The layout is so thoughtfully done, it is such an enjoyable way to spend a half a day.In the Spring, one goes for the tulips and daffodils. In the Summer they have a whole edible garden with all kinds of lettuces, herbs and vegetablesIn the fall and winter there is not so much outside but they do have an indoor tropical area which is great to visit. For eats there is a fancy-ish restaurant with outdoor seating, great for people watching. Also there is an outdoor fast-food type place for burgers etc.

The Denver Botanic Gardens is a must do when you are Denver! This is a huge park with so much to see and you could get lost in here for hours. It is pretty far from downtown, so you have to take a pretty pricey Uber to get there if you don't have a rental car. The other thing I didn't love, they didn't make it clear on the website that you had to buy tickets for a specific time. We got there and had to sit around for almost 45 minutes before our ticket time came. The great thing about the garden is that they have plenty of both indoor and outdoor plants. There a small rain shower that blew in during our visit and we were able to duck into one of the greenhouses and it really didn't affect our visit at all. I also that that they have art scatted around in the flowers.

Glow at the Gardens 2022This year the event was laid out wonderfully and the decor was amazing! Back this season was a flame throwing presentation, corporate sponsers had giveaways and food and drink vendors were open throughout the Gardens. It was lovely to see attendees mixing and mingling without having to distance.I love the Gardens. The carvings were fun to view and the light displays were very colorful and bright. I always enjoy this fall event and we lucked out with having an amazing evening. Mother Nature was in a good mood! A must see!
