Disappointing Experience and Poor Service
I visited The Ruffly Rose Flower Shop recently and was very disappointed with the service. My business has ordered flowers from this shop for years but I'd never visited the shop in person. The shop is beautiful, and I live in the area, so it was the first place I thought of to purchase a beautiful arrangement.
When I entered, the person at the counter was on the phone and didn’t acknowledge me at all. Even after hanging up, she still didn’t greet me or offer assistance. However, when my daughter entered shortly after, she was immediately greeted and asked if she needed help.
It was a noticeable difference and had me wondering why.
We were in a hurry to visit my sister in the ICU and did not have time to stop anywhere else, so I made a purchase, but this experience left a bad taste.
I sincerely hope it was a mistake on the employee’s part, but I won’t be recommending or returning to this shop again.

Used Ruffly Rose for my wedding florals and they were good. They were my only vendor that didn't reach out to set up a meeting to go over my floral plan. However, they were adaptable to changes as planning finalized such as editing our numbers of tables and switching from all centerpieces to half centerpieces and half bud vases. They had a lot more light pink than I intended or had in my photos, but I was actually pleased with how their arrangements ended up!

I wanted to bless our daughter for her 30th birthday and decided to splurge by ordering a very expensive bouquet from this place ($125 for arrangement and total with tax and shipping $149.36!!). I’ve never spent this much on a bouquet & I normally always go with Banister Flowers in Englewood, but decided to try someone new this time. This was a big mistake. Not only did Ruffly Rose not listen to my request to leave the flowers in the rental office (after 3 emails requesting this), but then the flowers they delivered wilted the next day (see pics). When I emailed them asking for help, they implied that it was my fault the flowers wilted within 24 hours. Multiple roses + the hydrangea wilted despite my daughter diligently watering them like instructed. They wouldn’t reimburse me but only offered to give me a 25% coupon for my next order. This is so sad for me because not only did my daughter not get to enjoy flowers for her birthday, but I wasted $149.36
which is a lot of money. It’s shocking to experience a small business give such poor customer service. Good customer service is so rare these days, and Ruffly Rose unfortunately is no exception.
I will never use this business again and will go back to my Banister Flowers who have always treated me well.

The Ruffly Rose made the bridal bouquet of my dreams for my and my husband's boutonniere for our elopement! They took the inspiration photos that I gave them for my elopement and made their own unique take on it which lined up with my vision. I am a wedding photographer myself and after seeing hundreds of wedding and elopement florals over the years I have been dreaming of the day I got a beautiful bridal bouquet of my own for when it was my turn. They are the best and I will be going back for sure!

The staff here are sweet and have great customer service. We couldn’t make delivery happen since delivery on a Saturday begins at noon. So I instead picked up the flowers a day before because I needed the flowers delivered by 10am on a Saturday. I ordered a neutral color palette and the Signature Ruffly Rose design style. Then I ordered the Mod size, which says perfect size for a kitchen table. I was disappointed I. The color palette I did get, was mostly white and green. I guess I was expecting colors as shown in the pictures on their website. The design was on point, looked great. Then the size of the arrangement was the most disappointing. It was smaller than what I expected. The diameter size of the vase was about 8in diameter. I paid $80 for this small arrangement. I love supporting small businesses but this was disappointing with the delivery not able to happen earlier than noon on a Saturday and they don’t give you an option to choose a delivery time. Then the size of the arrangement for $80+. I may go back to this location because the flowers they did provide were pretty and unique and because they are a small business in my neighborhood.

I had a stunning experience with my wedding bouquet. I realized about 5 days before my wedding that my rented silk flowers weren’t what I wanted. The Ruffle Rose was so calm and so helpful and made me feel great about ordering a last minute bouquet with very little input or direction. They absolutely crushed it - I was SO so happy with my bouquet and I should have gone right to them from the start. I will order any and all flowers from them forever.

I have never been so disappointed in flowers I have sent!
I ordered their Wild & Wispy bouquet pictured on their website - beautiful wildflowers. What my daughter received for her birthday was an arrangement of yellow carnations with purple & white roses!! Nothing whimsical or wild about it. It looks like someone is celebrating a Lakers win - yellow & purple? I know you always take a chance when ordering from out of state but I will not order from here again.

My bouquet wasn't what I had envisioned but it served its purpose. I suppose I should've been more specific!
Edit: I need to be more specific, right now, because I'm struggling with this. The inspo photos attached are the same ones I sent in the consult email. I specified I love the ombre and cascade style and didn't want any greenery, just Calla’s. The last photo is what I got. I know it’s difficult to see, but I'll update when I get the photos. When I picked it up it was far too late to change anything but the only solution offered was to add greenery. Cost wasn't an issue, I thought I was clear about what I wanted. My goal isn't to discredit their work, they can and do make masterpieces. Mine just wasn't.

I love everything about The Ruffly Rose. The adorable location, the decor, the variety of gift items, the staff, and the spectacular arrangements. This is one of my go to spots for small gifts.

I could not have been happier with my experience with the Ruffly Rose for my bridal bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets and boutonnieres. I requested colorful whimsy with a few pictures for inspiration and they knocked it out of the park. Thank you Ruffly Rose for making my wedding so beautiful!

The Ruffly Rose did all of the flowers for my daughter’s destination wedding and they were so easy to work with! The flowers were beautiful and just what my daughter wanted! We even used the wedding decoration flowers to decorate at the reception.

Did an online order. Had a typo in the zip code, my fault. Instead of clarifying, they made TWO incorrect assumptions changing the address completely and delivered to the wrong place miles away, not even in the same wrong zip code I provided. Then they told me I would have to repay for a bouquet and delivery fee if I wanted my recipient to get them.
