We love the CEC! Our little man has been hanging out here for three months now, and can't wait to go to "school" everyday. Excellent leadership and staff - we trust this group without question.

Who's in charge?? There's no organization or administrative professionalism to be found as a parent of an applicant. -- I applied and called and called and emailed and messaged through the website, and never received a response. I have reached out SO many times and I'm always told "Someone will call you back." Those calls never happen. Finally someone did call me and said "Congratulations, your child can start on this date." Then I took a tour, and no one could verify that promise. Director Patricia was ice cold and 0% sympathetic to my concern as a parent. Is my child in?? "The list" can never be found or verified. Half the time I called "the director was away for the week and she will get back to you with where you are on the list." No one can ever find or verify "the list." -- I really wanted to attend and love this school that is within walking distance to my house, but the promise of "we'll get you in soon" never came to fruition. I still haven't received a call or email. -- If admissions are this disorganized and inconsiderate, what is the day to day childcare experience like?

Look no further if you are looking for child care! My year and a half year old has been at the CEC since she was 3 months old and I could not be happier with her care. As a first time parent I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Her teacher Ms. K in the infant classroom took such amazing care of my daughter (she has been at the center for 10+ years) and even taught me so many useful things/tricks/gave great advice as my little one grew! She will always hold a special place in my heart. The leadership are also amazing- Tiffany the director and Patti former director are so open/transparent and truly care about the children, they have done a great job following all state COVID guidelines to the T while also always listening/understanding families needs/concerns. There is a great staff of teachers- Ms. K Ms. G, Ms. A Ms. Lisa Peggy Maria etc, curriculum director Eric and chef Sara. It feels like this is not just a job to the staff- they really make it clear that they care about the children's well being, experience and growth. My daughter is so happy at the CEC that we have decided to keep her here even though we are moving from Wash Park to Highlands Ranch. Worth the commute!!! Tiffany the director is extremely easy to communicate with. The staff is flexible to parents needs. I have recently toured other daycares as we are moving and there are so many little differences that sets the CEC apart (ie I often like to bring my child's own food for the day (even though they do have a GREAT menu with so many healthy things!!!) and SO many daycares do not give that option unless your child has an allergy). Also I must note- I completely disagree with the bellow review- the center closed due to Covid in March and utilized that time to revamp, remodel and relaunch the center...this did take longer than a lot of us parents hoped, however they reopened in August with a ton of improvements (ie an app for parents to teachers/parents to communicate and track what is happening throughout their kid's day).THANK YOU CEC FOR YOUR AMAZING CARE!!!!!

My children were at The Child Enrichment Center for 5 1/2 & 3 years. The caregivers were wonderful and my children loved going to “school.” After completing the pre-k program my daughter was well prepared for all aspects of kindergarten. It was one of the few centers in the area that allowed for part-time schedules for all ages and allowed families to pick which days of the week their children would attend. Tuition rates were very reasonable for the area.In fall of 2019 there were some leadership changes with the church becoming more involved in the childcare center. Unfortunately this does not appear to be a positive change. The center was abruptly closed in March 2020 with no indication of when they would re-open. The current staff was let go and it was very unclear at the time if current families would get any priority when they did reopen. Initially families were told the center would reopen in July however it wasn’t until late July that we were informed that the center wouldn’t open until mid August and then only in very limited capacity. Tuition was raised significantly. The only part-time options were set M/W/F or T/Th schedules taking away the flexibility that many families need in their childcare. The new leadership appears to be more focused on the bottom line instead of providing quality childcare.

My daughter was enrolled here for 1 week. The director Patricia was very smug and condescending towards me. But I liked the teachers so we started my child regardless. A teacher once said she was scratching and my child hasn't done that at home. Any other time picking her up they said she had good days. Then while dropping her off one morning the director rudely asked me to wait for her. I waited a few minutes and she finally walked out. Proceeding to tell me my child seems to have underlying issues and that the teacher said my daughter requires a lot of attention she can't give. I found it totally unfair and rude. My daughter who had never been in daycare was expected to act like children who were raised in it. And not to mention my daughter is biracial. They had staff who were not all white but for the most part it was no people of color. So now my daughter is waking up telling me hi kids hi school meaning she wants to go to school. So sad this place gave up on a child after a week. Then set out to make it seem like she did wrong or had something wrong with her. Shame on you.

We have absolutely loved the Child Enrichment Center! We have had two children there since they were each around 5 months old. Our son is still currently there in the one year olds room. They have had amazing teachers, who truly care about them and their well being. We couldn’t ask for more!

This center has been like a second family. The teachers have been wonderful and caring, and the safety & care of children is a #1 priority. Our children have consistently been happy in their environment, are exposed a variety of play and learning activities. The fellow families attending the center are wonderful. We would recommend CEC to others looking for a care center!

We have been so impressed with the care our children have received over the last several years. Our kids are excited to go to school each day, and they are very excited to show me their art projects and talk about their activities with their teachers and friends each day. They often want to visit their former teachers to once they have moved up to the next level classroom too!

The infant classrooms are very nurturing and the teachers very knowledgeable about babies. The toddler classrooms are great about getting the kids to advance in their abilities as they grow. We love how prominent art and singing and projects are in our kids' everyday.

Our children have loved calling CEC a second home. The recent renovation brightened up the rooms, but even before that, the warmth that came from the teachers was enough for our kids. Safe, clean, and the preschool is excellent to get kids ready for Kindergarten.

I have had 2 children attend here, currently just one and we have love it. The staff is so caring for my babies. Though we moved out of the area and tried different daycare facilities, I always had a draw to come back here. When my littlest one transferred from another facility at 6 months and she had a hard time adjusting. The staff all came together to ease her transition by giving her a little extra TLC. As a mother returning to the workforce it took so much pressure and anxiety off me to know that my baby is in good hands and it is okay to leave her there. My lack of star is just for the search engine optimization of the website content. It is hard to find CEC unless I am specifically looking for it. Such a jewel in the middle of the city should be easier to find. That is IMO but stuff like that is what I do.
