Nearby activities: Colorado museum, State Capitol, arts district.

This place is nice and the way the building is surrounded by art is cool.
Rooms: Room comes with 4 tiny side cans and 2 water bottles which is nice. Comes with 2 bath robes and a significant amount of towels. Bathroom is nice with 2 sinks and a nice shower with a small sitting place. Room is big enough for 2 and a large TV right in front of the bedroom.
Safety: Walking around the area is not bad at night. Night life is decent around this area. There's a couple of bars with food options in the nearby area.
Walkability: There are locations that are walkable in the nearby area for coffee or food. There's bars open late night and people roaming around the streets at night as well.

First off, the front desk people are awesome. Amari was incredibly helpful, really went the extra mile for me and my family, and made sure our stay was perfect.
Location is awesome, amenities are included, rooms are spacious, clean, and the showers are amazing. I would stay here for the showers if I could. 10/10.
I will be coming back, this is my new "place to stay" in Denver. In conclusion, Amari is awesome. Stay here.
Rooms: Large, great views, INCREDIBLE showers.
Nearby activities: All of downtown is a scooter ride away. Lots of food, activities are mostly events or bars.
Walkability: You could walk or scooter to most places.

Spacious rooms, amazing shower and excellent bedding. The location is perfect for city walks. The elevator is a hassle with large groups and the doors slam extremely loud.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful! The staff and service are exceptional. The parking options kinda suck but valet with in and out privileges was $54.99 a night. Other than that this hotel is a must stay at in downtown Denver.
Rooms: Our room was absolutely beautiful! The bathroom was huge with a big soak tub and rain type shower. Bathrobes were super comfy and they even had a vanity in the bathroom too!

Amex Fine Hotel customer. This hotel has a great location. The rooms are decent. But overall, the food and service are not quite on par with what you'll find in the Fine Hotels program. Overall, it was just an okay experience. 3.5/5 is a more accurate reflection of what I felt. I wouldn't return. But for someone looking for a fine hotel at a decent price point, it might not be a bad option if there's a sale going on.
P.S. please include the resort fee in the online pricing. Things that are not a surprise should not be treated as incidentals.

Fancy hotel but their air conditioner struggles to keep up, probably all the windows. The restaurant/bar was unbearably hot and our room wasn't much cooler. Also no black out curtains available so you won't be sleeping in.
Front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Free Lyft within 2 miles was a bonus.

I enjoyed staying at The Art. I only stayed for one night. The rooms were actually pretty decent. Thumbs up on the shower. The water temp and pressure were perfect in our room and the robes provided were very functional and comfy. I loved their house brand of shampoo and conditioner - it was lovely! It was nice to have some optional drink options like water and soda made available to us in the room since the front desk snack options were seriously lacking. Overall, our room was clean. I guess in hindsight I would have asked for more espresso pods as I needed more coffee in the morning. I enjoyed using the Hilton app to check in/out and unlock my door instead of using the keycard. Valet Parking Service was fairly good too. Overall, the service was good, friendly and accommodating. I booked through a third party and ran into a snag when I found out my room choice was changed without my knowledge (from 2 queen beds, to 1 king bed) before checking in. But when I called the hotel, they were accommodating and fixed the problem. So, I was incredibly grateful for this. Unfortunately, I never received an itemized receipt from the Hotel and my incidental fee of $100 is still yet to be reimbursed. But overall, my stay was very pleasant.
Rooms: Rooms are basic and practical, and decor is modern and updated, which is very nice. TV was modern, and the beds comfortable and there were no strange smells like some hotels have and everything looked and appeared clean. The bathrooms are equipped with some very nice showers so you can adjust the water pressure. There didn't seem to be any lack of hot water nor fluctuations in the water pressure. There are some nice robes you can put on after you shower and wear while you sip your espresso and put on your makeup and do your hair. It was nice to have available some carmel corn snacks and some water and soda in the mini fridge available. Overall, very nicely setup without being pretentious.
Noteworthy details: Hilton app was great to use without having to rely on their staff.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay (3 days, 2 nights). My only complaint is the location. It is walking distance to restaurants and other activities (museum) which is great, however, it is easy to miss the entrance to the hotel. Because there is a one-way, you have to drive around to get back to the hotel.
I've been back. It was still a great experience.
Update: The last time was not so great. It is very frustrating when the digital room key somehow works for everything except the room. I asked the front desk to reactivate my key; he told me that he is only capable of deactivating my keys and offered no other help, which is weird because any time that I need to reset my digital key, the hotel has done so while possibly providing a backup physical key. I'm sure it was intentional. The coffee maker had sitting water with a ring; it was disgusting. Don't worry. I WILL NOT BE BACK.

Settled in the unique and quiet art district, the Curio hotel exceeded our expectations. The rooms were spacious, AC worked great for a hot 4th of July weekend, and the staff was very accommodating. We were charged a local amenities fee of $20 each night of the stay (following downtown Denver regulations is my guess) but we were able to apply it to the restaurant/bar. They also provided free complimentary Lyft rides within a 2 mile radius to and from the hotel until 8pm! It was a nice perk and there was plenty to walk around for coffee/small snacks. The gym was also open 24/7 and had the essentials for a solid workout. Happy to stay again when we’re visiting Denver!
