As a library professional & lifelong lover of books, I'm drawn to bookstores whenever I travel. The more exciting ones have been abroad, but I can still find inspiration in countless stateside shops.Unfortunately this trip was already reserved for a 500+ page book on The Beatles, so while I wasn't likely to buy anything new & add to the weight of my luggage, I still spent a good deal of time browsing & left with a few ideas. Lots to discover here if you, too, have a love of reading!

A great bookstore for browsing or picking up a read at the airport! Huge selection of bestsellers, but you can also grab a copy of a nonfiction, comic trade, children’s book, etc. It doesn’t look huge from the outside, but you can easily spend a good chunk of time there. All the books are cover price, but that’s not a bad deal for an airport read.

Friendly staff and a nice stoked airport bookstore. It surprised me the nice variety of books it had. Most airport bookstores are too small and only have a small selection of books.

Very knowledgeable staff here. Impressed with the organization as always at any Tattered Cover Book Store. If you're flying through and happen upon this location, it's a book lover's haven amidst the chaos of airport traffic. They have their traditional list of top picks per category. For sure great recommendations for anyone who's not sure what to read. They have short descriptions of some of the bestsellers you can quickly glance at to get an idea. If you don't see, just ask. This store may look small but be surprised they might actually have what you're looking for!

What's a girl to do when her flight is delayed 2 hours in the Denver Airport? Well, this book lover of course stumbled upon the airport bookstore! The store is super cute and small, but the space is used well. Lots of new releases and popular books on the shelves. Found a couple of books I've never heard of, so I picked them up! They had Some cookbooks too. I could have bought more, but lugging them on the plane didn't sound like a good plan....lol. The staff was super friendly, chatting with customers and making a couple of book recommendations to them. They were super friendly at checkout too!

Tattered Cover Book Store has a user friendly website that makes it extremely easy to find what you are looking for. I had placed an online order for a gift card so my loved ones could pick out books they wanted. I appreciated the fact that there is a specific space to add a comment. Since the gift cards are sent via USPS, I wanted to know when the gift card would be mailed and asked if I could just get an email “heads up” message. The customer service team wrote back the day the card was sent and I got a personal email instead of some generic template. I appreciated the friendly and professional response to my request. I also appreciated how fast and efficient the entire transaction was. Definitely plan on future visits and highly recommend Tattered Cover Book Store!
