I visited this store on a stay cation at Union Station. They had hardly any inventory. I wanted a book for myself and I looked to find a book for my daughter. Bare bones shelves. The sole employe then loudly announced to my husband and me (the only customers there) that they were shutting the store down for their break time. We left without purchasing. It's poorly run.

Very cute hidden gem inside union station. Although the store is very tiny it has a great selection of best sellers and classic literature. Employee was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Lifelong TC patron - love them (all of the locations). My bookworm nieces and I were on the hunt for a sequel and there it was at the Union Station store. Just asked the clerk and she new exactly where it was (and they must have a staff academy for nice ).

I was not impressed. Very small, which isn't always bad, but so many spots were completely bare. Very small selection of books. I wouldn't waste my time at this location and go elsewhere.

It’s weirdly empty in here. In the past the store has been pretty well stocked, but this time there were quite a few empty shelves and the ones that weren’t empty had barely any books on them. Is this location closing?

Was a bit confused because a lot of the photos for this location seem to actually be of the main location on 16th street. This place is tiny but had a decently selection of goods. The shelves were quite bare I must say, with some shelves only holding 3-4 books. But still found a good that I wanted to purchase! Will have to go visit the 16th st store because that was the experience I was actually hoping for!

Nice little bookstore located in the Union Station. From what it sounds like, one of their flagship stores is located nearby, like a couple of blocks or so, but I'm guessing that they wanted to have a presence here so they took up by a smaller footprint. Nothing too crazy and the selection is limited because of the smaller space but definitely a nice little shop to visit while you're inside Union Station.

We found great books. Smaller location but just as wonderful.

This is Tattered Cover's Union Station location, NOT the main one. Don't let this be your impression of Tattered Cover - it is a very, very small bookstore in the corner of a train station without much selection. The main location has MUCH more and is worth going to, but if you are desperate for a book, you could try this location.

Bottom Line: A cute, small bookstore located within Denver Union Station.I love a local bookstore so I wandered into Tattered Cover looking for magazines, books, gifts or whatever just seemed fun. I was immediately drawn to the local sections including a section on railroads where I picked up a copy of Railroaded. I wandered around the store a bit which is relatively small but I hear their main, larger store is just a few blocks away. The store was clean and nicely organized.

Nice small book shop in the main train station. Lady was helpful with some recommendations including local writers.
