Josh and the team at Tabor Millworks were invaluable to us as we replaced gables, trim, and more on our Victorian-era home. Tabor custom-milled some decorative pieces from new balusters so we could replicate the original design exactly. Overall, it was sad for us to say goodbye to so much 135-year-old wood, but Tabor Millworks offered high-quality replacements and a ton of sage advice and inventory options about wood type, placement, prospective longevity, and care instructions. They were fantastic partners throughout the whole renovation project.

I came in here with the expectation of having to place an order and wait at the very least a few days for some baseboard I need for a project. Each person I met was extremely polite, courteous and professional. My go to guys are Tabor for all of custom mounding needs!

These guys have consistently dropped the ball for me. I’ve tried to have them quote doors and windows half a dozen times and they either take weeks to get anything back to me or just never respond. I’ve lost 3 customers directly due to this over the past 2 years alone.In 2019, I ordered baseboard and casing for a project and had them scheduled to deliver it the morning I was starting the job and they no-showed. When I called, they said they couldn’t deliver it and I’d have to pick it up at the supplier’s will-call. They hadn’t even bothered to pick up the material from the supplier when I ordered and paid for it a few weeks previously.I tried them one last time this summer. I needed some trim milled in a profile that they had the knives for. Promised in 4-5 weeks, delivered in 12. The client is angry. I tried talking to Ray and Josh at Tabor about it and they just laughed it off like it’s no big deal. When I depend on people to make things happen, it’s my reputation on the line. That’s not very funny to me.The next dime these guys get out of me will be at their liquidation sale.Update 8/14:Yes, I understand that problems arise. If you communicate when you’re having problems, we can find solutions. My clients understand that stuff happens. If your response is “don’t call us, we’ll call you” like Ray told me 5 weeks after my trim order was placed, you need to find a different line of work. If problems happen constantly, and they’re never your fault in a world where everyone else manages to function, you’re the problem.

Josh and Austin completely helped me fabricate some baseboard from stock to match some old mtn condo baseboard. They had me outa there in 15 min including the cutting needed. Couldn't be happier with their expertise, knowledge, and solution.

I can’t say enough about Tabor Millwork’s craftsmanship and attention to detail! They built a massive 140” long countertop for us with Claro Walnut and it is absolutely gorgeous - it’s quickly become the centerpiece of our entire house! Highly recommend them for any quality millwork projects!

This summer I had the pleasure to work with Patrick and Tabor Millwork. I was remodeling my kitchen and wanted to install a custom made walnut breakfast bar. I had only a vague idea of what I wanted when I got started with the project. Patrick helped me to understand the options and possibilities. We selected some beautiful raw walnut boards. Tabor Millwork edge glued and surfaced the boards.Our contractor then finished and installed the bar. It turned out beautifully. I recommend Tabor Lumber very highly.
