“Living in downtown Denver, Whole Foods Market has become a gem for my boyfriend and me. It’s just a 5-minute drive or a 10-15 minute walk from our apartment, making it super convenient for our weekly shopping trips. We love stopping by for lunch at their hot bar, which always has a delicious and diverse selection.
Recently, we’ve shifted our grocery shopping to Whole Foods, and the difference is incredible. The food quality feels so much better, and I feel good about what we’re buying and eating, especially compared to Walmart or King Soopers. Their selection is amazing—almost all of my favorite processed and typically unhealthy foods have healthier alternatives with better ingredients.
As someone who strives for a balanced and healthy diet without breaking the bank, Whole Foods has been a pleasant surprise. I always thought it would be significantly more expensive, but the prices are actually comparable to other stores. This has made our grocery shopping experience not only healthier but also more enjoyable and affordable.
If you’re in downtown Denver, I highly recommend giving Whole Foods Market a try!”
“Store is clean and well-stocked; however I was trying to find unique dried chilis and spices and found stock from China and/or whatever I can already find in New England.”

1772 W Mississippi Ave, Denver“Just a short distance from Denver Airport you'll find Carniceria La Depensa Latina a grocery, butcher shop and restaurant. I'm a huge fan of menudo and base on recommendations from the Yelp Army, we stopped by for a great experience. The Carneceria was a impressive arrangement of Latino decor as well as friendly staff. I ventured over to their menu and was impressed at all the delicious options to have for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. We visited early Sunday for a chance to get menudo and also try their chiliquillies a delicacy of fried tortillas and eggs with salsa, beans and rice. Both dishes were serve hot and filled with incredible flavor. The menudo also came with the usual garnishes as well as hot tortillas. Both dishes were reasonably priced and great portions.Lost of patrons began visiting the store to grab produce as well as prepared meats to take home and either fry or grill. Store was very clean and service was very helpful. If you want great food for some authentic Latino groceries, this is your place. I highly recommend them!”
“Small and narrow aisles, but has a great selection of Asian groceries. My parents love to come here for some reason. Prices are fair and service is good for the most part.”
“This particular Whole Foods feels like a flagship store. It's huge, well-organized, and packed with everything you could possibly need. The ready-to-eat section is a lifesaver, with a massive variety of fresh and delicious options. And the pizza? New York-sized slices for under $5! It's a steal and surprisingly good. They're also embracing new technology, like the palm payment system, which is pretty cool. Plus, it's a super convenient Amazing self service return hub, making life so much easier. Overall, this Whole Foods offers a fantastic shopping experience.”
“Great selection of authentic Mexican ingredients, produce and meat are inexpensive. Couldn't disagree more with some of these 1 star reviews. The variety of meats at the butcher is what keeps me coming back here.”
“I love this location! The store is cleaner than most and most of everything I was looking for was in stock. Locked cabinets is a norm these days, but there were plenty of employees available to unlock them and get the things I needed. I don't know if I just shopped at the ideal time or not but I hope it's the norm and will continue as I'll be back!”
“Wide variety Chinese, Hispanic, African originated foods and household items. Reasonably priced. Well-displayed merchandise and clean aisles. Will come back again instead of going to the other ones over on the west side.”
