I honestly should have learned my lesson a year ago when I brought my son in and was completely ignored. But thinking maybe it was a one-off, I decided to give this place another chance. BIG mistake.
This time, we made an appointment and showed up about ten minutes early, hoping for a better experience. Instead, we stood there for a full 20 minutes again, completely neglected. It was absolutely astonishing to see two other gentlemen walk in behind us and be ignored just as thoroughly. Finally, when I spoke up, the response was, “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t see you standing there." Seriously?!
We had a reservation, and it felt like a slap in the face to see such blatant disregard for customers. My son was so uncomfortable with the blaring scream-o music that made it impossible to even have a conversation, and frankly, I was just appalled by the atrocious customer service. We promptly decided to leave. Coincidentally, the gentlemen who entered behind us also left after witnessing the awful treatment.
It’s easy to see why this barbershop hasn’t received any awards since 2018. With customer service like this, it’s no wonder nobody wants to spend their hard-earned money here. I genuinely hope the owners read this review because they clearly need to have a conversation with their barbers, this place needs a serious wake-up call. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and it’s truly a shame that such a lack of professionalism has persisted here. Save your time and money—look elsewhere for a respectable barbershop that values its customers.

Always a great vibe in Spruce. Love the location and being able to pop on Tenny after. Grab a free beer while you wait and/or during your cut and I love checking out the clothes when I’m there too.
But most of all, love the staff there! Always Personable and friendly. Britt does a mean fade be sure to check her out! Don’t sleep on getting the ultimate, Treat yo self! You won’t be disappointed!

It was a standard experience until I got home and realized that several spots had been missed. I had several long hairs on my head, in my beard and my neck trim was sloppy as well. When I went mean they did take care of me and trim up those missed spots, but there was no apology or other gesture of the inconvenience to me of having to drive back over there and wait again to get those few additional corrections made. So overall I don’t plan to go back here. I know I should have taken a close look before leaving, but in my few other experiences at a barbershop that wasn’t an issue I experienced.

The guy cut ALL of my hair off. I’ve never gotten a worse haircut in my life. I asked for a fade, and to keep a good amount up top. He cut a high skin fade, hardly blended it, and took off most of my hair up top. I’ll be wearing a hat for the next few weeks. Really disappointed.

I wanted a bit of a switch up from my typical classic taper cut but wasn't sure exactly what would fit. Darius gave me a slightly modified crew cut and killed it. Great barber.
