We were happy with the mattress until the machine that makes it work died - 2 weeks after the warranty expired. They spend a lot of time talking about the warranty on the mattress, but they don't mention that the machine that makes it all work only has a one year warranty. So look forward to paying a super fun $200ish bucks a year to have your mattress still function. I would HIGHLY recommend returning the machine part a few weeks before the warranty expires (maybe make a calendar appointment as a reminder.) But doing all of that is a ridiculous thing to have to do every year for the mattress to be functional. So I would recommend looking at other options.

Don’t be fooled by their marketing and sales reps in store. This was by far the WORST customer experience I’ve ever had post-purchase.
Firstly, the mattress we received at home was not the same we tried in store. Period. My partner and I both agreed on this.
Secondly, when asking about returns, the rep mentioned their “super easy return policy” but failed to mention two critical aspects of this policy:
1) You CANNOT return it within 30 days. We made an international move and had stuff everywhere as we were settling in our new apartment, but no, we HAD to keep this thing in our apartment for 30 days despite having already replaced it with another mattress (yes it’s that bad, essentially a glorified, overpriced air mattress).
2) It cost us $500 to have it removed. So you’re essentially paying $3500+ for a bad mattress +$250 delivery fee and another $500 on top of it to have it removed.
I moved from Europe and in all my years in dealing with thousands of businesses, this is by FAR the worst I’ve ever come across.
Their customer service reps on the phone are beyond rude. No incentive to help customers out as once they’ve taken you money, nobody cares.
They know that even if you hate the mattress, they’ll end up making $500-700 in delivery fees from you anyway.
STAY AWAY! I will promote this message on all other channels to keep as many people away as possible.

Came in just wanting to try the beds, figure out how financing work…. Bought the bed same day ? Kim was awesome with trying to find us the right bed since we were torn between wants and needs. Took us maybe an hour to do the sleep number test, try 3 beds, and purchase the bed. Kim told us about their points program which is a life saver for their custom sheets for the custom split/half split beds. Worst part was the wait for the delivery which was only 7 days. Day of delivery they were there right before the end of the delivery timeframe and finished in 30 minutes! So quick… they made sure to explain the app first before they left and explain the features (the no slide latches are awesome). 10/10.

sales people very attentive.. spent a lot of time explaining the different beds.. went over the price and how soon it would be delivered.. although not part of the store.. the delivery went as planned.. on time in the projted time.. quick set.. great communication...store has easy access.. like it's a freestanding store with parking.

Great store, learned a lot about the different bed options and the technology behind them. The in-store representative was very knowledgeable and helpful, not pushy at all.

Edit 3: In response to Sleep Number: You're astoundingly condescending to your customers. In year 3 of a 25 year warranty, it costs over $250 to replace a single air chamber because your bed parts are grossly overpriced. The writing of the warranty only speaks of percentages. How foolish of me to assume that what amounts to a basic pool raft wouldn't cost hundreds of dollars when purchased from you. Your products are of poor quality and you're clearly aware of this as evidenced by deleting negative reviews on your own site. If you believed in your products, there'd be no need for this. You'd also cover the labor of your own people coming to replace parts instead of charging $100 an hour. Congrats on doing the absolute legal bare minimum to advise customers of the limits of the warranty while your salespeople represent it as "25 years of rock solid security" (a direct quote from Murray).Edit 2: Sleep Number deletes any negative reviews from their own website. My reviews were honest and accurately reflected my experience with the company.I've still never gotten that follow up and we're on air chamber replacement #2. It's less expensive to buy aftermarket than to use the useless warranty after the second year. Sleep Number continues to be the worst company I've ever done business with. We relegated it to the guest room and it still broke.Edit: I've still never received any promised follow up, ever. A couple of years later, and the garbage customer service continues. Now the air chamber is leaking, and the "25 year warranty" doesn't cover the required $100 technician to replace the air chamber. Sleep Number is a ripoff. I'll continue telling everyone I know until they start making things right.Original review: Steer very, very clear. We were told a number of inaccurate things by our salesperson, Murray, such as our dogs interfering with the SleepIQ metrics and ResponsiveAir function of the bed. I greatly regret purchasing a Sleep Number bed.It took over an hours worth of multiple calls to customer service to get them to agree to send someone out to investigate clear faults with our bed (it inflates and increases firmness over the course of the night) so I engaged Gabe at the store, who referred me back to customer service, but promised to follow up. Gabe never followed up and we're left hanging and sleeping on our guest bed.DO NOT DO IT.

Even though the salesperson was very busy with multiple customers, he maintained contact with each of us so that we knew we weren't being ignored. He was most helpful with demonstrations and searching for coupons and other discounts that could be applied to our purchase. As a 20+ year user of a Sleep Number Bed I highly recommend investing in one. The flexibility they provide is invaluable.

Super High pressure sales and manipulation (as if I was on a car lot) just made me feel manipulated, uncomfortable about buying from them instead of them helping me be happy about getting a bed.

Biggest rip off in the world of beds. Haven't had a good nights sleep in years. Do. Not. Buy.

I had an amazing experience purchasing my mattress. Andrea was so kind and allowed me try out all the mattresses in the store. No pressure but just kind information is what she provided.

Very nice place, clean, very friendly staff. I loved that they took the time and patience to explain to us everything about how the mattresses work. So much so that we bought an excellent mattress.
