I have one thing to add about my disappoinment with this law firm. Though Ms. Winters did come down to col springs to talk to my husband and myself. I was told this would be a FREE CONSULTATION. After I got my 1st bill of many. I noticed they charged me for the consultation. When all was said and done I was charged $8000 for copies and faxes.

I was in a bad car accident and needed legal assistance to work through all of the insurance and workers comp matters. A friend recommended Shapiro and Winthers, P.C. and I have been extremely pleased with their help. It took 2.5 years for them to settle my claim with the insurance companies due to my injuries and I'm very pleased with the results. They were able to get me a settlement that far exceeded my expectations and their fees were very reasonable for all the work they did on my behalf. I am so thankful to have been represented by Melissa Winthers and cannot express enough gratitude for all she has done for me.
I was in a horrific car accident that completely devastated me and changed my life as I know it. I was overwhelmed and lost and had no idea where to go or what to do. I sustained a TBI that led me to have cognitive changes as well as feelings of being lost and vulnerable.

We have been working with Steve Shapiro Amanda Pfeil and Stacy Trujillo now for a while after my partner's accident and love how they personalized it and became friends. They cared about us and watched out for her well-being after the accident after being hit by an uninsured motorist who was texting. They went out of as she is deaf and was a little bit difficult for communication but went out of their way to make sure that she understood what was going on in the process and assisted her in getting a settlement that allowed her for future care. I would highly recommend this to anyone needing their assistance hopefully no one will have an accident requiring assistance but this is the team to go with. Thank you for having this team that protects us from greedy insurance companies.

I have been working with Steve Shapiro, Amanda Pfeil, and Stacy Trujillo since my car accident caused by an underinsured driver. Yes, this was something that was horrible and never would wish it upon any one but thankfully with these 3 by my side, I was awarded a settlement that helps out with medical bills and without them I would have only been awarded the bare minimum of $25,000. I am deaf and these three really went all out to help me with this settlement. They stood up and fought for me to get more as I will be needing multiple treatments to help with the pain caused by the accident. I can't say enough for this team and for them personally, Thank you Steve, Amanda and Stacy for all your hard work. If anyone needs someone by their side to fight for what is right, this is an awesome team and will recommend them to everyone.

We spent a lot of years with Steve through our daughter's litigation. He always took the time to know our daughter, cared about her well being, treated her with respect as we went through the process.
