We were referred to this clinic for a second opinion for my daughter, from our surgeon, Dr. Vanderveen, after she learned of a medication increase with other complications from Denver Health. The Dr's. are great at Denver Health but this specialty only comes once a week, and waiting for a reply from the Dr. at Denver Health can take weeks . The drive there was pretty straight forward; it's behind the East High School, off of 17th avenue. There is plenty of parking, in the new parking structure at the 'Combo' Hospital, St. Joseph's and Jewish National Health. However, there are no signs where the clinic is, even with a map, but a friendly passerby look-a-like of Michael Moore, directed us to the correct facility. He was an innocent replica, and I knew it, because he acted like a good citizen by directing us to the correct facility without attempting to corrupt us with his demented and paranoid philosophies. I thought for sure he was an innocuous reminder, replicating the removed ghostly thyroid tissue that once nearly threatened to destroy our lives. But once inside the facility, we were immediately made comfortable by the large comfortable waiting room, the friendly staff, and the wonderful, Dr. Kathryn O'day, and her supreme medical experience and compassionate manner. Dr. O'day is very sympathetic to your plight, very thorough with her medical questions, as she reads your previous medical history, asks important questions, and makes a plan for your future medical needs. We were definitely sold on Dr. O'Day and are returning! She is available 7 days a week, and promises to answer your emails and questions promptly. We truly hit the jackpot finding Dr. O'day. The staff was also very kind at taking my daughter's blood and making her feel at ease. Thank you also to the Sisters of Charity at Lutheran for making this appointment for my daughter. I was so grateful because they made it all happen with faxes and the right paperwork, that in my excitement and joy, I thanked G-d himself, and then I blessed them too. I laughed when the friendly woman suggested I must be a good Christian. No actually I'm Jewish I said. Close enough she replied. Ha Ha Ha, ...Being a good 'Hebrew' has it's many benefits.
