I was in the area and needed a hair cut. On the window it says walk ins are welcomed. However this is not the case. When I walked in I sat for 30 minutes patiently waiting for the stylist to finish up with their current clients. I understand being a walk in means no appointment and I was willing to wait. After being stared at like a monkey in a zoo. Not a single person greeted me or acknowledged my existence. As a store manager for Verizon if my employees ignored potential business/clients I would lose my mind. 1/5

We have been loyal clients of one of Salon De Nobelle's stylists, Paige Van Der Wall, since 1994. She always does an expert job on haircuts for both my husband and me. And, she also offers other services, like eyebrow wax and dye, which I love since my blonde eyebrows are invisible otherwise. The salon is conveniently located near Hampden and Monaco, on the SW corner of Oleander and Girard.

This salon has been established for over 30 years. All ladies who work there are very nice, friendly and awesome. I know most of them in person and I can tell that it is not just an average beauty salon, it is a happy place with a great community, life-long friends and amazing stylists!

I've been a client for many years. Sharon has been in charge of color and she's fierce! The hair products are top notch. I always leave there with my hair feeling soft and looking shiny. Val is in charge of the cut...I've always been complimented on my hair thanks to Val. Price is reasonable and parking free.

Paige Vander Wall, at Salon de Nobelle is a wonderful hairdresser. My husband and I have both been seeing Paige since 1994. She does an excellent job on both men and women. She also trims my husband's beard and even his eyebrows! She does an amazing job of highlighting my hair, covering the grey beautifully. I've also had her wax my eyebrows as well. Besides her hair cutting talent, Paige is fun, and funny, and friendly. We just love her!

Called to ask about a same day appointment and was told that they were closed because there was a water main break and all of southeast Denver had no water. False. I have water, another salon near them has water, and the almighty Google has absolutely nothing reported. Nothing in the news and nothing on the City of Denver website. At least use a plausible excuse if you are turning down clients for no reason.
