Couldn't figure out how to use the online coupon to purchase paper towels for a discount, so some kind ladies helped me out at the self-checkout. Thank you!

The customer service at this location is pretty terrible. The few times that I've been there, the employees have been extremely rude. On 2 separate occasions when I asked for help finding an item, I was treated like it was some huge inconvenience, for them to point me in the right direction. Rolled their eyes, and scoffed at me like I was an idiot. The items in question were not in the usual spot where you would find them(not listed on isle markers). While checking out the guy at the counter didn't say a word to me even after I said "hello, how are you?" Just tossed my items to the side as fast as he could, and said "the bags are right there." The only person to show any kindness was the woman at the deli counter. Employees here need a serious lesson in empathy. Do better.

Worst grocery store in the area by a long shot and has been for years. The employees are miserable from understaffing, basically no check out lines open ever. Most they ever have open is one lane. It's depressing to in there. Sprouts, King Soopers and Trader Joe's are all better options.

A bunch of incompetent people work here. I asked the man in the produce section for the Cosmic crisp apples that were on sale. He said we didn't get any and recommended the Pink Lady apples. I went through the checkout and asked for a rain check. The woman told another person to go check and she showed me the Honeycriso apples. I said no I didn't want those. She walked around and then disappeared in the back. She came out and said they told her to check the organic section. They weren't there. Finally after standing around some more we walked up front and she asked the manager if they issue rain checks. The manager walked off and found some in the front of the store. Wow.

I do not know the name of the lady that works the self checkout when I am there... she is a black lady with a wonderful smile and great personality, but I want to say thank you very much for your help. being older and disabled, life is tough and she and the other employees at 6th and corona are so helpful

I've been trying to fill a prescription for days now and the pharmacy claims they can't find it, yet the Doctor has called it in twice now. It's ridiculous and frustrating to be going round in circles just to get a prescription filled that I've been getting filled here every single month for years. And now suddenly I can't get it filled and it's 4 days overdue. Did the management change or something? What the heck??

I'm writing this review because of two gentleman named Tom & David. A few times as I was shopping he approached and made sure I was still doing alright. I ultimately needed his help at the end for an item that was out of stock, and he went in the back to find and grab me some. It was super nice! I wouldn't be able to make my pumpkin cookies w/o him! David was also very friendly. He was helping an elderly woman in front of me who was deeply struggling to find a coupon. He was super patient and kind to her and was very helpful to me as well. Overall some very solid employees working at this place! 4 stars because the stock is very low, hard to find quite a few things.

How can a grocery store (6th&Corona, Denver), operate without shopping carts (maybe 10). The Mgr indicated the"poor" take them. And I responded, "why don't you put locking mechanisms on them?" To which the Mgr replied, "Oh they just break them." So please, can someone tell me why the heck does Safeway seemingly intend to operate a supermarket when their "cartless" operation seems more like a convenience store.Disgruntled Shopper

Since my post last week, Safeway reached out to apologize for the lackluster interaction I mentioned in my previous post. I've been really impressed with their timeliness and sincere interest in contacting me, since I figured my frustrations would likely get lost in the ether. This has been a really pleasant outcome, considering my only intention was to draw attention to the fact that when coupons don't ring up as planned, there are alternative ways to handle the situation beyond accusing a customer of fraud. Thanks for reaching out, Safeway! 5 stars! :)

This is a basic Safeway. It has Starbucks, a pharmacy , Cori star, deli, meat/seafood and basic groceries along with a deli. I did not see any cart returns here but maybe I didn't look hard enough. The prices here seem higher than other Safeways but I guess that's just basic economics. I was annoyed with this visit because I needed something for my partner. The item in question rang up as 10.99 according to the self checkout clerk. He took the item from me which was a feminine care product. He walked all the way back there and came back and said it's 10.99. I said ok I don't want it then. It was clearly labeled 7.99 and yes it does make a difference being 3$ more. He voided it and then I walked back there after checking out. Took photos of the shelf tags and the item. I went to another register where I waited a good 6-8 mins just to get the one item. I showed the photo to the cashier his name was Jordan and he honored the price. He said it was even ringing up wrong and that self checkout should have just honored the price. It's really crappy knowing that as a customer I have to walk all the way back to that aisle take photos and come back to the front to pay for the item. As someone who worked for the parent company of Albertsons for 8 years they can change and honor the price up to 20$ without a manager override. In no way shape or form was I trying to defraud them of20$. I will probably just chose another grocery store from now on or just make sure I go to Jordan to check out since he was gracious enough to help. Thank you Jordan

We live just a couple blocks from this store and received a coupon for $10 off $50 or more so decided to go shopping and stock up. We spent an hour going through the store picking out stuff only to get to the register to have the unfriendly cashier that was too busy using his cellphone to look up and see us standing there. After ringing up everything he tell us the coupon is only for valid a a store that is at 20th and Washington... Talk about disappointing. The coupon didn’t clearly say “only valid at such and such location.” You would think when a big box grocery store sends out a coupon that it’s valid at all locations. Back to King Soopers for us.
