I Took my fog Auggie to Rising sunanimal cre for flu and bordetella annd they are always so gentle with him. I asked technician if she would trim his nail and dremel them smooth. She did an amazing job . So much better than the groomer he goes to!

Today I had to go through the worst moment of my life without any doubt. Having to put my best friend to sleep after 16 years and being from another country was not easy at all. From the moment I entered to the place with my dog in hands, all the people who works there showed me lots of love, empathy and respect that I had never felt since I came to live in the United States. I really want to say thanks to every one of you, I can’t remember the names because I was not able even to speak, but know that you guys made that moment special. Thank you again!

We had such a great experience with Rising Sun Animal Care! Our pup had to get a tooth pulled, and they were so fantastic and gentle with him the entire time. They even gave us a hand written get well soon card and a blanket for our dog after the procedure. Such a thoughtful staff- they care out our pets like they care their own! ❤️

Absolutely the best. I wish my own doctor was as kind, engaged and informative as this group. Absolute Professionals - From the front desk - to the exam - to the Dr. follow-up call and return visit. I couldn’t be more impressed or appreciative. I can’t stop talking about it actually. (AND new patients can EASILY book online - complete paperwork- and get in fast - we got in same day and they already had the ppwk from my previous vet)

This vet felt the need to fat shame my cat. They charged me 200 for an ear exam that didn't resolve the issue.. then wanted me to come back in a week to check again. The dental cleaning quote was a minimum of $3k. Will never come back here, too greedy.

Great experience all around, highly recommended. Staff and Vet team was all very professional, resourceful, and took the best care of our dog. We appreciate all their hard and compassionate work and look forward to returning when we are ready for our next dog.

I have been with Rising Sun since September of 2023 and we have had to go in frequently for my dog’s condition. The vets have always been great, knowledgeable, friendly, and seem to genuinely care about the wellbeing of my dog. Everything is always explained very thoroughly and clearly and they take the time to answer any questions you have. Appointments are easy to make and there is usually a fair amount of openings and flexibility.

I really enjoy bringing my dog to Rising Sun,. the Vets really seem to care and so do their assistance. You feel like you’re in the loop and know what to do to keep your dog healthy. I also feel they have reasonable prices.

I can always tell that they really care about pets. The office staff is kind and friendly, and the docs and techs take time to really explain what they are doing, and, if home follow up is necessary, how to take care at home.
