Had a battery issue with my XC60 after 20 months of no issues. Care By Volvo customer, and I contacted them Friday night. They answered immediately and sent me a tow truck to bring to Rickenbaugh. Sat morning Rickenbaugh was already fixing my car and I picked it up on Monday. No charge for anything because I'm Care by Volvo customer. Excellent service from Nick in the repair shop!

You know you're dealing with a stand up car dealership when the deal falls through and you still feel inclined to write a good review. The past few days I was penciling out a deal with Donnie P. I got upfront pricing on my trade, a great deal on the used car I was looking at and a clear picture of the loan before my credit app was submitted. It was straightforward, honest, and zero pressure. What killed the deal was the high interest rates that everyone is fighting right now. We just couldn't get the payments to a level I felt comfortable with. They worked on it for an entire day and made loan term improvements too! I live in Wisconsin. I would take the drive to Denver to work with this dealer group. And when interest rates calm down and I'm back in the market for a vehicle, I'll definitely shop their lot.

I've purchased a lot of cars in multiple different parts of thr country and to be honest Rickenbaugh is the best car buying experience I've had to date.Everyone I dealt with was friendly and professional and seemed like they were genuinely happy to be there.Coming from Lexus and their ridiculously over the top cushy dealership experience i wasn't sure what to expect but Rickenbaugh had everything you'd need while waiting- free drinks, comfortable writing area, wifi etc. Also I love that they had the food network playing both times that I was waiting - Alton Brown ftw!Also, Jake is an absolute badass. Highly recommend him and if you're looking to purchase a vehicle I would absolutely ask for him. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful but never felt in any way pushy as so many car sales people can be - felt more like having a high end concierge rather than a sales person. He also took the time to personally clean my vehicle before delivery because he didn't think it was cleaned correctly. I honestly can't recommend the guy enough.Thanks Jake and thanks Rickenbaugh!

Update: After leaving my initial review, Terry reached out to talk more about my concerns and issues from when I bought the car and apologized for the experience I had. He immediately scheduled me for service to fix the paint issues and the car looks amazing now! The Rickenbaugh team did a great job making sure I felt satisfied with the car and rectified the issues I had with it when I initially bought it a few months ago. I'm extremely pleased with the high quality work their service team did, far surpassing my expectations, and will certainly be going back for all of my future Volvo needs. After this experience, I'd highly recommend Rickenbaugh.From what I've seen, Rickenbaugh offers better CPO pricing than other dealers in the area, but not enough to make up for their lack of service. I was told the car I was buying was ready for pickup and spent 2 hours waiting for them to finish detailing it. When it was finally done, there were buff marks on the car which the salesperson said was just wax (still there after months), and the interior was filthy and had animal hair in the carpet. Ultimately they gave me a discount for my troubles but forgot about me after the paperwork was signed. It took them 3 days and multiple requests for them to send me the signed paperwork and set me up on the app. They owed me a second key for the car but the salesperson never followed up and I had to reach out to service separately. You'll get a decent deal here, but you're better off going to McDonald or another dealership if you want to be taken care of. The service I received is indicative of a low-end used car dealer, not a luxury vehicle dealer.

Service Department had my car for 7 days for a 30k service.I left numerous messages and no return call. No one in the department could update me on the status. Upon completion & pickup- car was not vacuumed nor washed. Very dirty exterior. It was clean when I dropped it off.I noticed the check engine light was on 10 minutes on my drive home. I called the service department but only could get voicemails. I returned the vehicle to have the warning light evaluated. Service advisor was immediately defensive and commented that the light was not on when it left and was not their fault. The transport driver sped away in the car to have it looked at... burning tire rubber in the garage and on the street. 1 hour evaluation determined that I need to pay $900 to replace a sensor. Service department charged me 1.9% to use my credit card. total s*** show. Service manager should be demoted to the car wash. This place has lost my future service and new car sales.

We bought our 2011 XC60 here which was a great experience. We have always had the regular maintenance performed at Rickenbaugh with little issues….until the last year or so. The level of service has drastically gone downhill. We called for a week straight trying to get a service scheduled and to ensure that we could get a loaner car. We called multiple times every day and even left several voice mails fo the to call us back but we never heard anything. We then decided to just go ahead and book online listing several things that we wanted checked out AND requesting a loaner car. We made the appointment almost 3 weeks out just to make sure there was enough time to get the loaner. We followed up with several more phone calls to verify we would be able to get the loaner and no answer. On the day of the appointment new drop off the car and the service advisor says we can’t get a loaner because you have to make the appointment by phone, you know the phone that nobody answers. This is by far the worst experience we have ever had with any service department for all then different car manufacturers we have owned. We will definitely be looking elsewhere on our next service and when it comes time to replace this vehicle we will definitely take a serious look at other manufacturers who’s is too bad because we really like our XC60.

Last week I purchased a 2023 Volvo XC40 total electric from Jake Niederhauser at Rickenbaugh Volvo. Would rate 6 stars if I could. Seamless purchasing experience, second to none customer service. Jake made this the easiest experience purchasing a vehicle that I’ve ever had. I would recommend Jake and this dealership for anyone looking for their next electric or non electric vehicle. Ten out of ten. I will be purchasing here in the future.

By far the best auto service department I have ever worked with. I've serviced three different volvos here over the years. I've owned various different makes and models of cars and have used so many different auto shops. By far Rickenbaugh Volvo is on a level of its own, both because of their amazing customer service and professionalism as well as the high quality of their work.They stand by their work, they are reasonable, and they try to help you solve problems. Also, prices aren't bad. Of course you pay for quality and for the fact that it's a Volvo auto service, but their prices are comparable to other regular autoshops, except their quality is much better.I've worked with various people through the years here and every single one has been professional and attentive! Would never service my Volvo anywhere else.

I bought my car here and have it serviced here, I couldn’t be happier. Everyone here is so unbelievably nice and helpful. Brendan in the service department will not let you leave until you are absolutely taken care of and are a satisfied customer. Truly above and beyond!!

Five plus stars for Rickenbaugh Volvo. Allstate insurance totaled my 1994 Volvo after my catalytic converter was stolen. Jon Symonds who works for Rickenbaugh Volvo helped me get more money from the claim I filed with Allstate. I took his Jon's advice and Allstate issued me a second check. McDonald Volvo were I bought the car was not at all helpful. If you are thinking of buying a Volvo go to Rickenbaugh - these people are genuinely nice. Five plus stars for them.

It was a very nice experience purchasing my new Volvo. Very professional. However, I have not had the best experience with the service department. It has been a challenge for me to contact them. Too often the calls go to voicemail and it’s been rare that I get a call back. It has been frustrating enough that I will not make another purchase from this dealer.

You'll see that his claims of "far from what transpired" and what he claims is misleading follows directly along with what we both wrote.To the owner: Interest in a car at a certain price is a willingness to negotiate; It is not necessarily a validation of your cost. The difference is distinct and meaningful. Please don't misconstrue this. Also, your animosity towards an otherwise innocuous review at a reasonable rating is testament to your own character. People reading this will see through you. Good luck.-----Original Review-----The experience with Rickenbaugh was mediocre to say the best. Jake was very helpful, but also withheld that they do not negotiate on prices until I'd left the showroom for the day.When I asked for a small (1.78%) drop in price to meet a price point that I wanted to hit, he said he'd check with his manager and I started heading home. Not 15 minutes later, he called and said we'd have to put more money down for an after-market piece we wanted installed "to show that you're really interested" before telling me that his manager wouldn't budge on the price (for reference, the discount I asked for was 30% of the money they wanted me to put down).Well, seems like they do want to negotiate -- just a one-sided negotiation.It's ok, though. I get that some people do business differently. I went down to McDonald Volvo and had a great experience with some people that do business more my way. Got a better vehicle at a lower price. Rickenbaugh gets 10/10. I have worked with this dealer since I moved to Colorado in 2019 and they have made everything from service, to purchasing seamless. All the staff is responsive, and respectful. Huge thanks to the service time for always being timely and well educated. Thank you so much to Tami Maddy, Nick Pacifico and Ron for being welcoming and professional. I live closer to another Volvo dealer but they do not even remotely compare. I am a forever Volvo customer, and part of that is the customer service. Well done!!!
