This is an amazing old school business, they don’t make them like this anymore. The depth of knowledge is vast and they really are experts. On the day we were there third and fourth generation of the family were working alongside an employee of 40+ years! Don’t expect Zappos selection or refund policies - rather a curated selection of quality products and expert fittings.

Republic seems to deserve everyone's business for their honesty about shoe sizes. How many shoe stores have I not been to, including online, only to hear that wide (or narrow) simply isn't available. Republic didn't have the color I wanted on the shelf so they got it from the back. They also pulled out the catalog to show amy other colors they can order, in multiple widths if need be. Great customer service. It appears this is now my go to place for Florsheim, New Balance, Rockport and Dunham shoes though they certainly have more. Looking past the sober decor allowed me to have hope. I walked out with the most beautiful New Balance sneakers I have ever bought.

Fabulous shoe store with a great selection. My husband and I went there for athletic shoes and the staff took the time to make sure the fit was perfect. I highly recommend this store.

At first I felt like I was transported back in time. But thr shoes are fantastic quality, nothing like you can get anywhere else. Joe and Dov are wonderful!!! I will be back!!

Republic Shoes has quality shoes in hard to get sizes. They also, are friendly, and give 100% attention to you and your feet when you are in the store. If you don't like a shoe, you can return it after trying it. Those are the reasons that I love Republic Shoes in Denver.

Personal service, correct fit for comfortable shoes. I hate shoe shopping as I have wide feet and can feel the bones in the balls of my feet when walking.They have solutions. Local company. Great service and professional advice. Will shop here again. They know what they are doing.

I got shoes from this store and I have never had a pair of shoes that fit like these doI just got done walking with my son and I feel like ive been walking in shoes that were made just for me They are amazing and I love them :) thank you so much!!!

This father, son business is well worth the drive. I came from Castle Rock not knowing what to expect. They are knowledgeable, patient, kind, good business men. The shoes are ALL very well made. If quality and comfort is important this is the place to go! These are not your cheaply made, fall apart weeks later type of shoe. Quality Quality Quality. I’ll be returning again to get my next pair soon.

The guys here were so friendly and they did an awesome job. I brought in my riding boots that my mom had bought at a thrift store and worn for years, and my sister also wore them for years.. so they were beat.

I have hard to fit feet and am constantly on the lookout for attractive, good fitting shoes. Roy took the time to really listen to what I needed and was able to find just what I wanted. The service is incredible. I had to go back to get my shoes adjusted, but this was done graciously and with great expertise. The assortment is incredible! The styles and quality of the shoes beyond comparison. I left the store with 2 new pairs of beautiful shoes and am beyond delighted. I will be back for more! Katey

I came in today 12-5-18 at around 12:23pm to purchase another pair from them because last time I was in they were great. They took the time to help me find a fashionable shoe the would fit my wide foot. This time was not the same. I explained to the Clark I had been in before and purchased a pair of the a brand of shoes they cared and before I could start explaining it was not labeled as wide he cut me off and said rudely they have never made a 4e shoe. I started to talk again and he interrupted me again and showed me all the shoes they have in 4e none of which were like the dress shoes I inducted. He continued to be condescending and I finally said I was not going to argue with him and left. I rarely have people get under my skin but this short heavy set Clark was a pro at it. Will not return to this store it is out of my way and I had such a good experience last time that I fuilt I would go out of my way again. Bad idea
