Great experience they went above and beyond to try to convenience me today by saving me some money. I could have paid more money but they were looking out for the customer finance.Appreciate the quality service.Place has cameras in the hallway seems really secure has kept my valuables safe for about 6 months now.Thank you public storage employees for today.

Just got all checked in for my new storage unit. Jeffery and Isabelle were very nice and helpful, check in was a breeze. The climate controlled units are clean and secure.

Let me start by saying Rita is an amazing individual who cares about her customers, for the past two months I have experienced nothing but headaches here until Rita took over my account and helped me figure it all out. If it wasn't for Rita this property would have gotten a one star. Thank you Rita, for all your help getting my account figured out.

What a great positive experience renting from this Public Storage location. For seven years, I rented a double-wide space at this location and I never had a negative experience. I've recently liquidated all of the items I had stored there and before I had an opportunity to notify Jeff of my vacating, he called me to make sure everything was OK because he noticed my spaces unlocked. Imagine that! He called to make sure my things were OK. When, I said "all was well" but I no longer needed the space, Jeff said, "Let me check on your final payment since you won't be here the month of December." Are you kidding me? WOW! Talk about superior customer care! Jeff had my final payment refunded and even verified where to send the refund check! He also wanted me to talk to the liquidator and make sure I got my locks and keys back, which I had forgotten about! He didn't have to go the extra mile and I never would have known. I'm sincerely impressed by this man's follow up, attention to detail and CARING! When I need to a rent storage unit again, this is where I'll be going. No, let me rephrase that: "Whenever I need to rent storage space again, I'll go to wherever Jeff is working!" I hope Public Storage remains fortunate to have Jeff there. How very cool for me to be able to say something nice about someone and about a business!

Jeff is an actual angel - I was having the worst day when I got to the facility last Saturday and he not only helped me with a complicated transfer of units, but he made sure to get me a unit close to my current one so that I didn't have to run all over, helped my uhaul driver place the box conveniently, and even offered to help me move one of the heavier pieces I had. Genuinely such a great experience - if there were more Jeffs in the world, it would be a better place.

Not safe to store your things here. I currently live overseas and found out via an automated email that the staff found my unit "unlocked". After having a friend go over, it was clear my unit had been looted and my most valuable objects taken. The managerial staff is completely useless and unhelpful with resolving this or getting to the bottom of it.That being said, James was extremely helpful in getting my friend into the unit to take pictures. He also noted they "have a suspect" in what has been a string of burglaries (if he is correct, for over a year now this has been happening) however nothing seems to be getting done by management to secure the building or stop the break-ins.I would not recommend this storage facility to anyone. Put your things some place safe.

After having a pretty crummy experience with public storage on Blake. Property manager Jeffery Thomas redeemed it. This place is clean, kept, and ran super well. He even made sure the code worked before.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR VALUABLES. THIS BUSINESS DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR THINGS.I was left a voicemail by James from Public Storage at 400 W Cedar Avenue, telling me that they found my unit without a lock on it. I have tried calling them back many times, and leaving two messages, and no one has responded. I am in Florida, so I don't have access to my unit, but I got my brother to go out there. He found someone at the desk, who clearly was ignoring my calls, and had him open up my unit (which they had placed their own lock on). After finding out that much of everything was stolen (and plenty of things that I won't even know are gone unless I go there), whoever was the person on staff said that it happens all the time, and every unit adjacent to mine was also broken into.I found many other documented incidents of this exact same scenario, at this exact same business. They say that have cameras at the front, require code access to get through the gate, front door, AND elevator, but clearly are taking no steps whatsoever to ensure the safety of their customers' belongings. The gross negligence of this company is apparent.

The absolute WORST. I started storing here years ago before they were bought by Public Storage. It used to be immaculate, people always onsite and very friendly. Once it was bought out it went downhill. In the last 8 months, the light along my aisle hasn't worked, when I could actually talk to a person (2 times out of 10 that I tried) they told me that there were 17 work orders filed to request a repair, and that there was nothing else they could do. The grounds are filthy. Garbage is constantly overflowing, homeless camps all around the property, and dirty hallways, elevators, and exterior. I left 5 messages for the property manager (regarding the lights) and she never returned my call. To add insult to injury, when I went to move out, I couldn't get ahold of anyone to schedule the move-out, and they didn't return the $213 pro-rated rent that I was owed. They give you a great deal to move in and then incrementally raise your rent to astounding levels. My rent was $341/month for a 10x10 unit. I talked to a new move in and he said they just signed up and were only being charged $65/month currently. It's shameful that they would have that much disparity within units, especially to clients that had given them business for decades. BUYER BEWARE!!!

The one-star review I wrote last week was not posted or replied to. On the day I rented my storage unit at this facility, there was no overhead lighting in my aisle. The manager said it would be fixed. Nine days later I returned with my movers and the lights had not been fixed. 19 days after that I was there again--and still no lights. This is a safety issue--no one should have to work in the dark--and women in particular should not have to be concerned about their personal safety in an unlit facility. This property is engaged in extensive remodeling and repainting projects, so I'm wondering why they can afford that--but not more urgent priorities, like tenant safety? After I posted my last review, I looked through other reviews and learned that theft is a big problem at this property, so I'd suggest that anyone who cares about their safety and the security of their possessions should be looking for storage elsewhere.9/12/2023 update: The lights have not been fixed. The district manager says "they're on order"--which makes me wonder why an important maintenance item like this--with an unusually long lead time--is not something that Public Storage keeps an inventory of? And, what a racket the insurance is! They charge you for it--even when you present a copy of your homeowners insurance. They tell you that you can cancel it in their app--which I did--but they continued to bill me for it after I did. I called Customer Service to get this taken care of, they tell me to cancel in the online account, NOT the mobile app. It would be helpful if their onsite employees knew that--and it certainly looks like you can do this in the mobile app. It's too confusing and all their emails come from DO NOT REPLY, so you have to call the 800 number for assistance, then learn that they can't/won't help you. Public Storage is a perverse company to do business with!

I moved from Seattle to Denver and when we arrived in the city my new apartment was not available. I came to Public Storage to store my things and Jefferey was incredibly helpful during this unexpected situation. He provided great customer service and was so kind during a very stressful time. I highly recommend Public storage and want to say thank you so much to Jeffrey!

I worked with Jeff and as I was checking in saw him work with two other families both going through some hard things. I’ve never seen someone be such a. Great presence and shine with kindness, respect and give everyone dignity. Truly made my first experience with public storage phenomenal. I am glad to be a client.

The manager is very communicative except for when they randomly raise your rent by $50+ and you have no choice but to accept it or move your stuff out.
