Barry and I go way back to when I lived in Denver a decade ago. So I knew that when I was ready to sell my house, he would be the realtor I'd want on my side. I knew he was super legit and on top of his game, but man did he blow away any expectations I had for this process. Previously, I had sold a condo with another realtor in CO, and selling this house with Barry made me realize how much I didn't understand during the sale of my condo because no one had taken the time to explain every step of the process like Barry did. Barry patiently explained all forms, acronyms, and other information that I should be aware of at every step of the process. Bonus points to Barry and Porchlight for those stunning spotlight photos that really set the property apart from others on the market! I was selling my house while living in Thailand, and Barry was the first person in my life to master how to successfully communicate given such a massive time difference. Not only that, his approach of running to any problems or issues as they arose and his willingness to jump on a call to problem-solve in real-time made this process such a dream. His ability to handle the most challenging situations such as my nightmare tenant that was occupying the house when we were trying to sell it with professionalism, calmness, and class was impressive to say the least. At times, the process felt downright overwhelming and Barry sensed that and gave options to make the process feel more reasonable on my end, without me having to say I was feeling overwhelmed. His ability to pick up on those cues of how I was feeling, despite being 8000+ miles away made everything easier on my end. They say good people work with good people, and this statement is spot on. Every person I interacted with in Barry's network to facilitate the sale of my home were nothing short of exceptional. From Catalina at Porchlight who may just be the most thorough and organized person as far as forms, documents, and information goes, to the title people to his financial connections who was able to explain what a 1031 exchange was. I have no doubt that the success of the sale of my home for far over the list price (listed for $580,000 and sold for $625,000) was largely due to Barry being the realtor on the sale. If I ever buy another place or hear of any friends buying or selling in Denver, Barry is my go-to recommendation for representation and a solid partner to have in your corner. With Barry as your realtor, you know you're in good hands!

My wife and I recently worked with Josh McIntire at Porchlight to buy a house in a particularly quirky and unpredictable market. To say working with Josh was great would be a drastic understatement: he was not only responsive, supremely knowledgable about the nuances of different areas of Denver as well as the invisible differences between build styles and qualities, enthusiastic about his job, and genuinely eager to help make our lives better, but he was also completely honest at every step which is arguably what meant the most to me. I trusted Josh's advice from the very beginning, and it saved us from a couple decisions that would have, in retrospect, not been wise ones; but whatever we decided, Josh was there to support us 100% to get the best outcome. In the end, we're ecstatic about the house we purchased. We also envy Josh's current and future clients because they're not done working with him!

I was very overwhelmed going into the home buying process and once we met Ben Ellefson I felt like we could totally do it. He explained everything in a way that we could easily understand and made us feel very comfortable and ready to go. His vast knowledge of the Denver area helped us narrow down the perfect area for us, and made touring houses exciting! He was honest and we could tell he truly wanted to help us find the perfect home. When we did, he made the process so easy and was always available for questions and support, even checking up on us after moving day. We absolutely recommend Ben; You will not be disappointed!
