We love the philosophy and the idea of OpenAir. We toured while I was pregnant and were told there was an 18 month wait-list. We paid a deposit to be added. We reached out at 16 months and scheduled a follow up tour since our spot was approaching. At the tour we asked specific questions about our child's classroom, teachers, curriculum, etc and were told to expect an email with more info, along with our start date. We never received the email. At 18 months I reached out to confirm our start date. No response. I have sent 4 email follow ups, plus calls, still no response. As of now we are past 19 months. If you're a caregiver reading this review, you know that finding a spot anywhere else will take us another 18 months minimum. Super disappointing that the administration team's unresponsiveness means that we to paid to wait this long and now have to completely start over.

I highly recommend OPENair Academy RiNo! We had a great experience here, in both the Toddler and Preschool classrooms (my kids are now moving on to elementary). The teachers are creative and thoughtful, putting intention into each day. The administrators are responsive and organized. The facility itself has a great outdoor space and on many days, the classes venture out further, going on "hikes," having picnics and exploring the nearby areas. My kids were HAPPY here. They made great friends, loved their teachers and made many mud pies and dirt tracks. Thumbs up.

Our son Holden was at Open Air from 4 months old to just a few weeks ago when we moved/relocated. We highly recommend Open Air to families looking for early childhood care/education. We loved the focus on outdoor play, creativity and community. The teachers and staff were great. Our son benefited SO much from his time in this community.

Our 1 year old has been going to open air academy in RINO for about four months now and it’s been great. The teachers and directors are really awesome and really do a great job with communicating with us each day. They always have fun activities for all the littles, which my little one looks forward to. Great staff, great environment for kids and always make you feel like family.

We absolutely love Open Air and recommend it to everyone we know with young kids. It’s been a perfect fit for our 2.5 year old. The teachers are caring, encouraging, and SO creative. I am always amazed by what my son does each day and how much he learns - he has truly thrived at Open Air. Kaley and Vanessa on the leadership team are so welcoming, supportive, and communicative - they’ve made parenting during a pandemic a little less stressful. Open Air is like family to us, we can’t recommend them enough!

Open Air is like family to us. Our first son attended until he was four, and he only left because we moved out of state. In our new state, we searched and searched for a daycare that matched Open Air’s community and programming, but never found it. When we moved back to Denver it was a no brainer to enroll our youngest son at Open Air. When we walked in for the first time in 3 years for orientation, I teared up at the familiar warmth and magic. Our youngest son is thriving at Open Air. As with our first son, I notice that he is more engaged and curious about the world around him, seems to make sense and explore something he doesn’t understand - I attribute this to the Reggio Emilia education he is receiving. The educators are loving, supportive and nourishing. The leadership team is just as wonderful as the educators. Kaley and Vanessa are warm, open, and always genuinely happy to see you - this is a novelty for us, as we have had relationships with three different daycare directors in our past and have never experienced the friendliness they offer. As an education professional I can be a little scrutinizing/prudent with my children’s education, so I am extremely grateful for Open Air’s commitment to excellence!

Working at OPENair was a wonderful experience. The managers of the RiNo location created and maintained a sense of collaboration and community between teachers and classrooms. Their door was always open (no pun intended). Toddler C was a family.

Exactly what we were looking for! Outdoor-focused, collaborative, hands on learnings through play. We couldn’t be happier with the care and growth that our child is receiving from Open Air. Kaley and team are fantastic!

I loved the idea and philosophy of this school but didn't get the support that was expected from the director and owners. We didn't get any classroom funding usually we had to pay out of our pocket, very very short staffed, alot of children being shuffled after parents left to keep teachers in ratio. I had asked for help and offered suggestions but was ignored by director and even the owners. Please look into this school before actually enrolling. Pop in visits and unexpected tours are a good sign if they are able to do so or not. Ask lots of questions about funding, staff ratio, and parent participation. These can be signs of a good or bad school.

Luckily I took my son off the waitlist, so I never had to deal directly with the imbeciles that run this school. Signed him up, was told it would be a four month wait. A YEAR LATER we were still #15 on the waitlist. Did they ever call to update me? NO. I had to call each time. Then it was like pulling teeth to get my deposit back. Stacy doesn't know how to train her staff, keep in touch with families or estimate time frames for kids. My son would now be in the toddler room, but apparently that is too hard for them to figure out as well. They model themselves off a great type of children education, but I haven't dealt with anyone there with any sort of sense. There's a lot of other school in Denver, I'd spend your time with a different one.

My son has been attending Open Air since September and we absolutely love it. The school is Reggio based and it has been a perfect fit for our family. They are caring, creative, playful and supportive. We have noticed a huge change in our 3 year old. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.
