Bob and the team at Open Road provide superior support and engagement. After purchasing a box from them last year and recently losing the key, Bob was able to fix the issue on the spot. You’re just not going to get this level of quick, personalized service anywhere else. A great, friendly small business!

After reading the other reviews for Open Road Outfitter, it's clear they don't actually need one more five star review, but I'm gonna do it anyway! I've been in to see these guys several times and each time I'm blown away by the customer service. I believe I've dealt with the owner more than once, and he always, ALWAYS gets me out the door with exactly what I need while spending less than I had expected. They have my return business for as long as I'm active enough to need kayak, ski and bike rack stuff.

I have dealt with Open Road numerous times for various rack needs and repairs over the past 5 years. They are open, honest, upfront and extremely fair about pricing. They are also incredibly knowledgeable about anything rack related down to fine details you wouldn’t even think you needed to know.Bob the owner is an awesome guy, and knows everything there is to know about rack related. I highly recommend Open Road.

Would give 6 stars if I could! Absolutely awesome. Was in an accident and other shops were telling me fixing the dent in my bumper was gonna cost $1500 because they’d need to take the push bars off my truck to access it. Open road outfitters said they could remove and reattach my push bars for $195 total. On top of that they pushed out the dent for me and I didn’t even end up needing to get repairs. Good team doing their best to ensure their customers are satisfied.

Emailed yesterday about trading in a rack towards a new one. I gave the exact model name and number of my trade in and was told we could work something out. I come in less than 24 hours later and, without even looking at the rack I brought, was told they were thinking of a different rack and had no interest in mine. They seem like nice and knowledgeable guys, and based off their reviews have the potential and capabilities of doing a good job. But beware, if you communicate with them in advance, they have no problem not following through and going back on their word. Was a total waste of my time, energy and gas money today.

Open Road Outfitters are probably one of, if not the best businesses that I have dealt with in a long time. Ordered a trailer wiring for my Harley, with pretty tight needed by date. Dale made sure that I had it in time for my trip. Went the extra mile.Also must mention that his video was great to help with installation, that was quite easy.I will definitely be going back to them if a need for their product is needed. A+ in my book.

I've lived in Baker for over a decade and have driven past on the corner of Bayaud and Cherokee a zillion times. When we needed a roof rail and rack install for our Kia Carnival, they were able to get the parts and install within two weeks of walking in and asking about options. The rail system they installed is excellent, Rhino Rack quick release. Adjusts quickly and can be removed easily. It's great finding someone in the neighborhood that can work on nearly any vehicle and get pretty much any type of rack installed. Excellent price, great knowledge, quality install.
