I hired Alliance to move my belongings on April 20, 2021 from Utah to Mississippi. The day of the move, a guy showed up a little earlier than expected and said he was hired off Craig’s List to help the truck driver move us. I was a little put off by that but I let him in once the truck driver got there. They moved all my belongings in the truck and charged me 1,800 more than what was quoted by Alliance! Once we got to Mississippi they day after the pick up I have been calling (after 2 full months) asking where my belongings were. I NEEDED MY STUFF THE DAY AFTER I GOT TO MISSISSIPPI!! I HAVE BEEN SUFFERING WITHOUT OUR STUFF/ SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR FOR 2 MONTHS AND STILL DONT HAVE OUR BELONGINGS TO THIS DAY!! I have been without my stuff for 42 BUSINESS DAYS!! BABU LLC ( THE CONTRACTOR) is unprofessional/Non responsive & rudeI AM SO UPSET! I AM SO ANGRY!Services: Vehicle transport

They picked up our furniture in az at the end of November 20’. We were loving to oregon and my father had become ill. I was dealing with him being hospitalized and trying to move. After much convincing I agreed to pay a moving company since I had a newborn as well.I knew something was wrong when they showed up with one guy to live a three bedroom. Anyways to his credit he was able to get it all loaded and away he went. We paid them thousands to pick up, and then monthly to have them store our belongings until March of this year. We called on the 9th of March and asked for delivery on around March 20th. They said they would call back with dates but the movers would schedule. No call back. It’s now Memorial Day. We have called multiple times and have been met with the same response. The movers will call for delivery this weekend. Laurie was the person who I spoke to last Monday. I explained that we had heard the same line 3 times over the last month and a half. I asked to speak with a manger or owner, to which she told me she could not do. I told her to please give my information to them so I could receive a call back. Of course no response.Unfortunately it seems it will take a court order to compel them to do what we have paid them thousands of dollars to do. Please beware of this company. One of the worst experiences of my life.Services: Interstate moving

Frustrating to work with after they received initial payment(they were pleasant right up until that point) , and after the move when they delivered a damaged TV to us they denied the claim for damages after taking nearly two months to get back to us citing that anything they didn't pack would not be covered(even though I was very careful to pack it and there was obvious mishandling of the padded box). Don't know if this is common practice, but the claims adjuster I talked to afterward relied on essentially berating me and tried to make me feel stupid for even asking about it until I dropped the claim to make sure I wouldn't pursue any further. Extremely unprofessional.Service: Interstate moving

This company was very helpful and responsive up until the day of the move - they did not show up the day they said they would, they came the next day. Everything was loaded from the home in Colorado by a competent team and that went ok - then everything went south - we finally accepted delivery a couple weeks later in California - literally EVERY piece of furniture unloaded was damaged - OTW did not deliver - one gentleman and his truck from Eden Relocation Inc slowly unloaded everything from the truck when his team never showed up - and as he saw everything was broken just kept telling me that what insurance is for. No one at OTW would take my call so I finally made the driver call and they immediately answered him - I eventually got their insurance info and will be filing a claim, they would not do anything themselves - just heartbreaking so many family heirlooms and antique furniture ruined. Literally nothing arrived in good shape - DO NOT USE this company! *1/19/21 update* I have reached out to the owner like they have asked - we'll see what comes of it. *2/3/21 update* OTWMS has NOT responded to my email they requested I send to follow up on my case **DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY**Service: Interstate moving

Worst moving company in Denver!! I was quoted $5400 and the day of the move it went to $8800 because they "underestimated". They were supposed to show up early on a Friday but didn't get there until the afternoon. They were to return early Saturday to complete the move and was several hours late again. It got to be around dinner time and they asked me to get them a few more boxes and when I returned, they were about to leave with items still in the garage. They had the audacity to tell me to take it. Wrong!! I made them take it all. They said "the law gives us 30 days to get you your goods". BS!! After many calls, they agreed to ship my furniture so that I could stop renting furniture. Finally got a truck load at the end of September. Most of the furniture was there but items from storage and the garage were in it. They had difficulty getting a truck they said so I told them furniture and the boxes labeled pots and pans. The pots and pans weren't on the truck. After numerous texts (they stopped answering my calls), I filed a complaint with the BBB. They contacted me asking why I did this so I told them why. I dropped the complaint on their request and another truck showed up a week later. This time it was with a shipment going to Dallas. And again, not everything was there. The driver knew exactly what was left behind. I had to file another complaint and this time they responded to it by saying I was fine with the way things were. WHAT?!?! I texted the boss and he said they said that because I lied. About what? Wanting my stuff?? If anyone lied it was them to the BBB and I have the text to back it up. I have also filed a complaint with the D.O.T. They have held my goods hostage for over 4 months now. And get this...I was asked to leave a positive review by them!!!! And also, after the 2nd truck, as they were putting things back into it, the left out a plant hook. I told the driver it wasn't mine. He said keep it as the customer won't miss it. This makes me wonder if my stuff isn't in someone else's house.Services: Interstate moving

on the way moving reviewClaire Murphyto me0 minutes agoDetailsDo not use this company! When booking my move everything went smoothly, but when it came time to move it became very stressful and complicated. I received a call a couple weeks before my move to confirm the day and make sure everything was in order. That is when I found out that the moving day I selected was really a 24 hour window of time. When I booked originally, I let the company know that I was going to be moving and setting up a specific day for me to fly back into town, close on my condo, and move. I set up the day, when they asked for a back up day, I gave them the very next day which happened to be closing day on my condo. Thinking this was a back up day, I set up my flight to and from Atlanta centered around the movers coming on a specifically selected day. The day before I call On The Way movers to confirm the day, and this is when I find out that they are running behind and will likely be showing up on Wednesday and not Tuesday. So far, I hadn’t heard from On The Way Movers at all. I had to keep calling them all day on Tuesday to get updates on when the movers would arrive. It was incredibly stressful and the company seemed to have no sympathy for my situation. Then once the movers finally showed up and we had changed our flights, they left after only 1 hour to go pick up a check from a previous move. This added 4 more hours to my moving time. I barely made my flight back to Chicago. I would never recommend this company.Services: Interstate moving

The experience was good on the whole. I wrote a 5-star review earlier at pickup about 3 weeks ago, and now this is after delivery. The movers for delivery, Zack and Brian, did a great job, very accommodating to my wants and needs, very professional, and no damage that I have noticed. The only issue I have is that once the storage period I had used was over and it was time for delivery, we were told we'd have 24-48 hours of notice for the delivery, but that was not the case; we got a call 1.5 hours before delivery saying they were on their way, so schedules had to be rearranged slightly on short notice, but that's on customer service, not the fault of the movers themselves. Other than that, no major issues, well done.Services: Interstate moving

In October, we booked with "Moving Solutions" which was really called "On the Way Moving." They were nice over the phone and we were given an estimate of $11,300 for our move. We even spoke with them twice to review inventory room by room of the house and shed. On the day of the move, a different company showed up called AJ Pro Logistics. They started moving our items to the driveway and into the truck -- and then decided to tell us that they (Abe) determined costs differently than On the Way, their "sister company" and our new cost would be $24,000. We spoke with On the Move Customer Service at the moment and they said there was nothing they could do. It was a Friday night and we were moving out of state the next day. We were completely stuck but to agree to pay the more than double the price. It was a TOTAL and incredible scam. Since that night, we have tried 5 times to get On the Way to respond to us. All they say is "we are trying to get the paperwork." DO NOT USE this company. They do not tell you the truth and are using AJ Pro Logistics, who is a total con job company. I looked up reviews for On the Way -- not AJ Pro. We do not recall ever being told that On the Way actually outsources the moving job to someone different who may have a completely different price. Looking at AJ Pro Logistics reviews, it seems they have a habit of doubling a price on the day of move, when the customer is completely vulnerable. Please heed my warning and do NOT use this company. They do not care about you.Service: Interstate moving

They lie to their customers, put their belongings wherever they want. They are not honest or gentle, its all about the money with them. They quote you a price over the phone and then when the movers get there they come up with new ways to Jack the price up. You end up paying double of what you were quoted, if not more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! 16 days after packing up and still haven't received my furniture and belongings nor do I have any idea when I will. How they have received all 5 star reviews is beyond me.Initially I received a good estimate for my move from Denver to Houston after going through my furniture inventory on the phone and letting the sales person know I also had a storage unit and explained items there too. The move items were from a 1300 SF plus a 10 x 13 storage unit that was not full at all. Not a huge amount of furniture. On the the move day, I did have more boxes than estimated so was willing to pay extra for those. I signed paperwork that said delivery date would be a MAXIMUM OF 7 DAYS.When we got to the storage unit the movers told me it was too much and they couldn't fit it on the truck and charged me an extra $1200. The foreman said they would unload the truck and be back THAT DAY to load items from storage unit. They did not actually load storage unit items until a week later after I had already arrived in Houston. When I inquired as to why the delay, the foreman Bryan said they had been very busy. 16 days from the move date, I am in Houston and as of 2 days ago, my belongings were/are sitting in a warehouse in Denver yet to be loaded on to a truck. They keep giving me the line that by law they have 21 days. Apparently they couldn't find a truck that fit my load. I called the sales person I spoke to initially to ask to speak to a manager and she told me she had to find out who I needed to speak to and would call me back. Never received a call back. Total incompetency.2 days ago, I was told my items would arrive tomorrow and to call today to get the contact information of the driver so I can know when to expect them. I was told the information would be texted to me. Nothing. Now I can't reach anyone. I have work and need to make arrangements. This company is totally incompetent, unprofessional and will give you the run around while your hands are tied.I should have done my research before selecting this company. Here are the Red Flags from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) that I now know were red flags:- The mover doesn’t offer or agree to an onsite inspection of your household goods and gives an estimate over the telephone or online — sight unseen. These estimates often sound too good to be true. They usually are.- On moving day, a rental truck arrives rather than a company-owned or marked fleet truck. MOVERS ARRIVED IN ENTERPRISE TRUCK- The mover claims, “You’ve got more stuff than estimated!” Should this occur, be sure the mover provides a revised estimate that you both sign listing the additional items and/or services as well as a price that you both have agreed to and signed BEFORE they begin packing or loading. They should also provide you a copy of this new estimate. NEVER RECEIVED ANY PAPERWORK OTHER THAN INITIAL ESTIMATE. I HAVE REQUESTED IT 3 TIMES. NOTHING.
