We love ninaBees! It's an awesome learning environment for little ones. Our son has been going here and he has food allergies, they have been so careful, kind, and caring to ensure that he is only getting his safe foods at meals and snacks. His teachers are so incredibly kind and are truly passionate about working with kids. As a parent who was a little nervous sending their kid to preschool for the first time, the level of calmness and kindness we experience on the first day was incredible. We love it that kids get exposure to nature, learn about daily life routines, and life skills from sharing to kindness. We couldn't be happier with our kid going to school here.

My son is a month into kindergarten after attending NinaBees full time for just over 18 months. Its clear that NinaBees prepared him well for all the learning and new challenges he is encountering in kindergarten. He is writing well, absorbing information and just beginning to read. He is also adapting nicely socially. I attribute so much of this to the structure of NinaBees and the nurturing environment he benefitted from there. I chose NinaBees because I wanted a play based preschool that made good use of the outdoors. The program allowed him to him to enjoy his preschool years without rushing academics and yet got him ready for what kindergarten would bring. Many thanks to Geri, Sophie and all the other wonderful teachers.

My daughter has been going to NinaBees since they opened in 2014 and my son will start next fall! I love NinaBees because they truly understand what preschoolers need- to PLAY! There is no book work, no heavy emphasis on reading and writing, but they do learn by playing. The kids who go to NinaBees are so lucky to be in such a nurturing environment where they are treated with respect, never talked down to or subjected to punitive punishments. They spend so much time outdoors- walking, gardening, going to visit local stores. I love this place!

My son has attended Nina Bees for the last 6-months (Oct. 2015)... Both my wife & I (and our son too!) have been extremely impressed by the staff, structure & curriculum of the Nina Bees Preschool. The preschool is located at Highlands United Methodist Church, but the education is not faith based. The classrooms are extremely clean & class size to staff ratio is ideal. I've been impressed with cost structure & flexibility of either 5-days, 3-days or two-days a week options for our son to attend. If your looking for a great preschool in the Highlands area, I highly recommend checking Nina Bees out!!

We are a very happy NinaBees family. My daughter started attending NinaBees twice a week in the fall of 2014 when they opened in the Highlands. Two years later, we are still as happy as we were when she started! They are outside every day, walking, exploring, jumping, climbing. The education they provide is age appropriate and through fun learning experiences. The classrooms are mixed ages (2.5-5) and I think it is great for their learning environment. The younger children look up to the older children and the older children learn patience with the younger children and become quite nurturing towards them. The teachers treat the children with respect. They are so engaged with them. They have their own garden and compost. The school has expanded since my daughter started in 2014 (they now have 3 classrooms) but it still has a small feel. If you're looking for a play based preschool in the Highlands, look no farther. My daughter has one more year to enjoy at NinaBees before kindergarten, and her little brother will follow in her footsteps to attend NinaBees once he meets the requirements to do so- minimum of 2.5 years and potty trained. It is located on the first floor of the Highlands United Methodist Church building but does not have a religious affiliation.
