They sell moldy bread, and won't make it right! I purchased their sourdough bread on Christmas Eve with an expiration date of 12/31, and I threw away the receipt because who keeps receipts for items they can't return in 2023??? On the 28th I noticed there was mold all over the bread. On the 29th I went back to see if they could swap it out and they wouldn't unless I had a receipt............ AGAIN, Stay away from this grocer! They sell moldy food and won't make it right.

Always a chill shopping experience. The staff don’t hover but are knowledgeable and ready to help when asked. They have also brought back some of their alcohol selection.

I pay a fortune to shop here and get to box my own groceries. The cashiers don’t help at all and won’t even hand me items as I am boxing them, they actually make me reach for the items being purchased. Kind of comical how lazy that is.

I've added some Ethyl in it for sanitation.... A little bit of Diesel that I didn't intentionally get but found on a side walk street inside a red gallon.... There's some common Sage, Cedarwood, and Rose water as well, that's already diluted with alcohol for extra cleanliness and floral scent because you know..... It's that time of the year again when people would just give you that bad energy knowing also and I'm not claiming of being hypocritical, that I'm a bad energy myself somedays (just trying to send that love back, I don't want it).Plus.... I don't have health insurance to be absorbing all that cooties especially when I'm on a jam packed train rides or whatever. So all in all this perfumery came out alright I think, Natural grocers....??I could've put some Patchouli, but who the heck knew that it would go up to 21 bucks a dram nowadays, and I love this location.I'd get some Dragon fruits here once in a yellow moon from time to time here sometimes.

Two weeks ago I got bear maced in this store. Yes, I said bear maced. I have requested to be called by their corporate office several times and no one has bothered to call. I find that very odd, if I owned a retail store I would at least return the call and make sure my customers were ok.When this happened the employees seemed slow to respond even though all the customers were coughing and gagging. I had to request the police and paramedics to come. The paramedics told me that had been at that store several times for episodes involving people being maced.I couldn’t return to work that day or the day after that. I had to schedule an emergency doctors appointment the next day because I was so sick.First, the fact that Natural Grocers can’t be bothered to follow up is wildly shocking. I would like to know what their plan is to get this macing issue under control. I shop there several times a week.Lastly, It’s really disappointing that they care so little about life long customers.I wouldn’t recommend shopping here due to the unsafe environment. Not mention they have a horribly rude cashier there!

This is the worst Natural Grocers I've ever been to! One of the employees started arguing with me over checking a price and said I was rude. This guy claims he works in the vitamin department and doesn't have to do anything else. I was really surprised at his behavior. Needless to say, I'll never spend money here again because of this one employee. The place looks like it's about to close down anyway. I'll be sticking with Whole Foods Market for now on.

Kelly is the most helpful employee that I have ever encountered. He was patient, helpful, kind and efficient. I appreciate you so much!

It's more than a grocery store, especially when it's hot. They have the best kombucha selection in town. The area is so walkable but not it's hot. My favorite thing to do is stop by grab a heath aid, sometime from the snack selection and cool off on the way to the next destination.

My favorite grocery store. Great selection given it's size and fair pricing compared to it's competition. I'm easily in here a few times per week and always enjoy it.

From the moment I first visited the neighborhood natural groceries store with my 8-week-old puppy, Lola, we were welcomed with open arms. The store has become an integral part of our lives over the past year, providing not only high-quality groceries but also a warm and friendly environment for both humans and pets alike. One of the most striking aspects of this store is the genuine connection the staff has with their customers and their furry friends. Lola, now a year old, can't contain her excitement every time we go shopping. She looks forward to interacting with the workers, who always greet her with enthusiasm and affection. In terms of the products, the store offers a diverse selection of top-notch food items that cater to various dietary preferences and lifestyles. It's truly a treasure trove for health-conscious individuals who value organic, sustainably sourced ingredients. The convenience of having such a great store just blocks away from my apartment is truly a blessing. In conclusion, the neighborhood natural groceries store has earned a well-deserved 5-star rating. The combination of exceptional customer service, a pet-friendly atmosphere, and a wide array of high-quality food products makes this store a must-visit for anyone in the area. If you're looking for a shopping experience that feels like home, this is the place to be!

Do not buy from here. Every single produce item I bought spoiled the next day. My eggplant and papaya were rotten on the side. Snow peas disgusting. The nut butter I bought had expired more than a month ago, upon returning home to see the expiration date. Staff very helpful, but avoid i will never ever shop here again

I just got home from Natural Grocers, and I'm pissed off. Here's three of the things that got my goat.1. We were not even in the store for two minutes before two different employees approached us to as if we were "finding everything okay." Is it because nothing was in our cart yet? Jeez. I've probably been shopping there longer than they've been working there. But then when we get to the checkout, none of those employees are anywhere to be seen, only one lonely cashier was left to manage all the customers! 2. There were three different printed flyers in my groceries when I got home. Literally, 70 pages of useless ads that nobody's going to look at--straight to the recycling bin. With all the money they're spending on printing (and killing trees) they could be paying their employees a better wage and maybe preventing some of that high turnover.3. I put my groceries away and was sitting down to relax with a snack when I got SIX EMAILS from Natural Grocers about some ridiculous bingo thing. WTF, man? Stop bothering me. I thought I unsubscribed years ago.I also need to mention that the produce at this location is particularly bad. It's always poor quality, and if you don't use it within 48 hours of purchase, it's usually rotten.I only go to to NG for their organic produce and bulk selections (and because this location is my nearest grocery store) but I'm considering a permanent switch to Sprouts because at least their produce stays fresh.Ugh. I'm pissed.
