You’re either a Butters or an athlete. The fact that this place has coined a word, “Butters,” for those not fit enough and up to their standards says a lot about the gym.Edited: The Mountain Strong Instagram post from Dec. 7 2020 has been curiously edited but still alludes to "butter people." I take it whoever responds to these reviews doesn't post on Instagram.

The community that Mountain Strong has been able to cultivate is wonderful. With many conditioning gyms, it sometimes can feel intimidating but not here. The coaches and owners make you feel part of their family. The members are open, friendly, and the best part, encouraging. The environment here allows your training to feel fun, that's the sweet spot in my opinion. Moving to Colorado and now been here for 2 years, 90% of my friends are from here. The gym always has phenomenal clinics to work on all types of things. From breathing, to climbing knots, to getting your rowing form perfect. They're always getting the community together for fun workouts followed by a relaxing BBQ after. I can write on and one but this place is truly magical. I am so grateful for the connections and life long friends that I have made. This has everything to do with the coaches and owners who have dedicated themselves to creating a place where your health and training can be a happy adventure. Don't get it twisted, they bring it and you will get your pump on but in a fun way.

I am 40 and life of sitting behind a desk and owning business's had caught up with me. I was 40 pounds over weight and had not done any kind of exercising for 15 years. I was very intimidated by the thought of going to a gym, let along a crossfit gym. I had heard how intense work outs could be. After about a year of walking by this place everyday I finally built up the courage to go inside. I spoke with the owner on the phone and had a consult with him about where I was at currently and where I wanted to be. He told me if I gave him a year it would change my life. I am right at 6 months now, I have lost 25 pounds and am learning all kinds of new weight lifting and cardio workouts. At first it was very challenging and everyone from coaches to other members were very supportive and took the time to coach me 1 on 1 and build me into the weight lifting movements and provided support while I built my cardio game.. It has impacted my life in so many positive ways, all of which I will not list, but the personal attention and amazing community of other members has provided me with a life balance like none I have ever experienced before. If you are already a gym beast or a fresh starter on your fitness journey, you can find a place here. I can't say enough how much this has already changed my life, and I am looking forward to continuing my fitness journey here. Thank you Mountain Strong!

Took the six week climbing training camp and it was great! The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were just psyched to help people reach their goals.

I can only review this place based on their climbing boot camp, but so far I highly recommend it. It says something when you can barely walk or raise your arms the next day after a workout. I like the climbing specific training instead of just general crossfit. The staff I have worked with so far has been motivating without yelling at you. I appreciate the extra focus on form to ensure nobody gets hurt. If you're trying to get up a grade, or 2!! Give them a try next boot camp.

I did a 6-week climbing clinic here - Christian and Matt are badass and showed us tons of great strength and climbing related training! Definitely worth it - they’ll build up your power and technique!

This place is not just a gym it’s a family. I have been coming here for 2 years and am incredibly impressed by the atmosphere that has been fostered here, and the results I have seen. These guys all know what they are doing. Give it a try!!!

Best gym I’ve ever joined. The coaches and community make the difference. From a coaching perspective, technique and safety come before performance. The coaches care more that you don’t get hurt than any other nonsense. The community, while friendly, pushes you to do your best. I’ve seen more gains in the last year than from any other competitive workout program.

Mountain Strong has been incredible to me. Their trainers are exceptional, the overall vibe is great and I have had nothing but good experiences. I definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Hands down the best choice I've made since the Pandemic hit, if you're looking for challenging workout with a great people - this is it.

The is the best gym I have ever been a member of. The coaches and other members are very supportive, encouraging, and helpful. I first started attending the gym as part of their seasonal Ski Conditioning class. When I began working out, an empty barbell was my workout weight, which made it intimidating to watch serious athletes workout around you. However, nobody judges or cares how much you can lift. Everyone is just happy to see people show up and work hard. I can highly recommend Mountain Strong!
