I never leave reviews, especially negative ones, but since I was almost forced to write one before I left, I'm editing as my experience and thoughts have since changed after getting Senegalese twists last week of June.
I want to preface my natural hair is VERY long, but I was asked to pay $450, which is nearly $150-200 more than I've ever paid. As a highly anxious, nonconfrontational person, I just agreed and even tipped (before the braids were even in). There were maybe 3-4 people working on my hair at once, which I didn't mind, but the braids themselves are all slightly different sizes. I noticed a day after, my braids were very frizzy (I made sure to wear a bonnet to bed) and some loose. The main reason I'm re writing my review, is that a whole braid just fell out of my head and losing my hair is a huge fear of mine. I know I have plenty of hair to probably hide the fact, but it fell out along my hair line, so the hair growth from that spot will be awkward.
Now, despite all that, I do want to say two of the girls were incredibly nice and respectful, asking throughout the process how I was doing. One of them even noticed the scars on my head (from a car accident) and was more gentle in that area, which I appreciate a lot.
I will probably not be coming back to this salon, as I have had better experiences elsewhere.

Had such a great experience! My son has 4c hair and we have struggled with it for a couple of years. He decided he wanted 2 strand twists and Mouna and her daughters were able to detangle his hair and get it in twists. It looks awesome and he loves it so much! We have tried different barber shops and other salons and have never left as happy as we were leaving Mouna’s. High recommend!!!

Excellent experience. I had to a Very bad experience with another braider and Mouna's team fixed my hair same day I walked in!! I would highly recommend.

Mouna, Oumou, and Kadidia invited me into their salon with such warm energy! Kadidia spent 5 hours on my hair and she was great to chat with. They did the most beautiful braids on me and I got free hair jewelry! They are a family owned hair salon and the vibes are kind, fun, and flexible!
