Mason is in a corner of Denver where your bound to run into some things that may knock any review. Additionally, people who live there need to pick up after their dogs.However it's a good affordable spot to live, and the maintenance team are awesome. Always friendly, and typically get to my requests very quickly. I want to give a personal shout out to Jonathan from the Maintenance team who always resolves my requests and does so with great service. Today he went all around the building to find a part needed to fix a broken washer in my unit and made sure I didn't need to wait for a new unit to be ordered. Very friendly and helped make sure everything was put back and cleaned up once finished with the work. Huge props to him!

I've been living here since June of last year and everything was fine aside from the community trash throughout the parking garage and the dog poop everywhere. However, in April my washer and refrigerator broke in the same exact weekend. Maintaince took multiple days to come to inspect the unit, at first checking the dryer, which wasn't the problem. After I addressed that, they inspected the washer and stated they would need to order a part or a new washer and that it would be almost two weeks until they would have one of those. In addition my fridge broke the same weekend. When they came to inspect my washer, I mentioned the fridge and was told if I wanted it to be inspected to make a service request. I did so that same day which took three days for them to check out. All of my food went bad. However, its now been four weeks and I still have no washing machine, and have to take all of my laundry out of unit to a laundry mat. To top it off the leasing company refuses to compensate me or discount my rent because of the complete inconvenience and lack of communication throughout the property. It's sad because I really enjoyed this property aside, but this makes me never want to rent with a greystar property managment company again.

I've been here for 2 months and so far it's been very nice. Everyone is reasonably respectable, service requests are done in a reasonable amount of time. For the price and square footage for these units it's a solid deal.The worst thing about this apartment complex is they're partnered with Wyatt towing, the most predatory towing service in America. So if you blink your car has probably been towed already.

Great place to be.close to everything marketing and more fun than u can see my place is fantastic and Management is fantastic no matter that care about u and yourself will sign another lease coming up I like it here

Worst management I have dealt with, when I moved in apartment was filthy, when I moved out I left the apartment cleaner then I got it. They charged a ridiculous cleaning fee, kept my deposit and sent me to collections to pay the difference.The fees were not justified as Mason, who has the rudest staff, had yet to provided valid proof. Sending pictures from someone else’s unit does not justify the charges.You did send pictures from someone else’s unit, your invoice was not itemized nor proves they cleaned anything, your pictures are not time stamped, you have provided zero actual prof of anything.

This place is becoming filthy. Halls and garage smell horrible. Garage stairwells always dirty with trash leaking or pet urine. Picture attached is a weekly occurrence in the garbage rooms. The trash chutes are constantly full and overflowing. Sometimes this condition begins during the week and stays throughout the next weekend. It’s ridiculous to pay a mandatory trash fee and still have no where to put your trash.UPDATE: A few weeks since my original review and it’s still trash city here at Mason at Alameda Station. Trash chutes were full again from Thursday to Monday. Two pictures added. Management makes no attempt to plan when dumpsters are emptied to ensure there is room for trash over the weekend. We’ve had guests over and had to step over trash flowing out of the trash room. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Avoid at all costs. Management is slow to respond, can never give straightforward answers about crazy added fees, will accidentally charge your account randomly, the pool/hot tub are always closed, office restrooms are rarely unlocked, trash in the garage is always full, maintenance couldn't fix a huge crack in my window, I could go on. The office staff, Leah, Lisa, and Jasmine, are kind, but will do everything in their power to provide no help, support, or assistance even when the issue is a result of their mistake.

This place is HORRIBLE to deal with. The apartment itself is fine but moving out was a nightmare- they added crazy cleaning fees ($800 for carpet cleaning? even though our carpets were completely fine?) and do not respond to many many calls/emails asking to go over the charges-- they just send you straight to collections. Completely predatory, do not choose the Mason. And if you are living there now and plan to move out, TAKE PHOTOS BEFORE YOU DO SO YOU CAN DISPUTE!!! Awful place.

This is the worst of all four places I've lived at in Denver. At move in there was a lot (a lot a lot ) of dog poop on the balcony. We had to ask 3 times to have it cleaned up then finally we just did it ourselves. The apartment was covered in filth even though they claimed over and over again it had been cleaned. Within my first few months there was clearly a homeless person living in the stairwell, that homeless person explosively pooped and they didn't clean it for days. The building is outdated and gross. Amenities leave a lot to be desired. They tow your car even when you're a paying customer and then refuse to negotiate with Wyatt's towing (screw Wyatt's but I'm sure we all already felt that way). The elevator is always broken. And they (multiple times) put signs up saying it will be fixed Thursday may 18th in December, like theyre too lazy to open up word and retype a sign and press print. They refuse to sign for packages or direct them correctly. The maintenance takes forever. Like doors are not working so anyone can walk in and out and there's no rush to fix anything even a security threat. While most complexes function without compassion, it felt like the employees at mason enjoyed screwing their residents over. Anyways, don't live here, it smells bad all the time :)

First off no pictures you see here are accurate or upto date as community photos added are removed by staff. Now onto the poor construction with cardboard walls. You can hear your neighbors breathe heavily, and God forbid they walk around, you will lose a picture frame. Called and the office said if they are home you will hear them.. Loud popping noises comes from old boards and pipes even when no one is moving, making it impossible to sleep. Trains way to close to apartments. Rarely clean community stairwells and halls, and the smells are terrible. Also bait and switched a reserved parking spot, and amenities availability on myself and others. Oh and actively campaigning for tenants to complain about a peaceful homeless encampment so the police will come and forcibly move them. Check out r/MasonatAlameda for more details and information on these apartments! Oh wait you can't because they had it taken down......Edit: I did reach out and you did nothing at all to help! Including telling me to schedule an appointment so you can listen to the noise disturbances I am reporting.. cause that's how that works I can schedule a noise disturbance. And thank you for not enforcing tow away zones for handicap people! And thanks so much for managing with an absolute sense of empowerment that makes you unbearable! Thanks for that message though real helpful to post that under every negative review.

Scheduled a tour for a 1 bed 1 bath I saw the day before for $1647. When I arrived they acted like they had no idea I was here for a tour. Sat down with me for a second anyway and told me they don't currently have anything in that price range because I didn't "save it" but nowhere on the website is that an option, or at least a first time user would see and understand. I've still gone back and looked and didn't see an option to save it. Was told that the price changed and went up $100 a month since viewing it on their website yesterday. Not to mention the girls acted like I was inconveniencing them. I just got up and left. There's so many apartments honestly I'd rather live somewhere where I feel welcomed anyway. Not to mention I had to wait 10 minutes even though there were two of them because a current tenant couldn't get maintenance to come to her apartment. I probably dodged a bullet.

Love this apartment complex! It is in the best location (baker is the best neighborhood), easy to walk to all the best shops and bars, right next to the light rail, great views of the mountains, easy access to 25 and 6 and the office team members are awesome. Did I mention floor to ceiling windows?! The only downside, as most apartments in Denver are the homeless which unfortunately get pushed out of downtown and into the neighborhoods. As long as you know to lock your cars, protect yourself, and know where you’re going you will be fine!

I recently moved in, and everyone in the leasing office is very friendly and professional. They kept checking in during our move, and greet us by name when they see us. We love our new apartment and we're so happy we chose to live here!
